Rubie's Child's Renaissance Damsel Costume

Granddaughter loves the dress. The belt rides up and the jacket is way to itchy.

WAS A GREAT FIT, A LITTLE SCRATCHY, BUT SHE LOVED BEING THE QUEEN OF HEARTS!

It's a beautiful little dress... except for the itchy little jacket and more glitter than tinker bell's fairy dust... why is there glitter on a child's dress??? It seriously gets EVERRRYWHERRRRE. So I must return it and find another dress.

First impressions are that it's a gorgeous outfit and my daughter loved it. But she only wore it twice before the seam on the belt had pulled apart - about half the length of the seam.After she'd worn it about six times the overlocking around the bottom of the skirt had also come away. And this has been hard to repair. I tried fabric glue which seems to have worked for now. While my daughter was wearing it, she wasn't climbing trees or doing lots of running or jumping so I don't think it should have come apart so quickly.Overall - a beautiful look, but disappointed in how it's lasted.

We bought this for my 4 year old for a trip to the renaissance faire. It cost the same as renting a costume there and it was so much fancier than anything we could have rented. She was complemented all day and age really felt like a princess. It was a hot day but the material is light the sleeves are actually a removable jacket. It has been a couple weeks and has held up well for dressing up. Seems a better quality than any of the princess dress up dress you buy in the store. It really is absolutely beautiful!

The suit met all expectations! Good tailoring, smooth lines, beautiful finish. The costume consists of dress and bolero. Dress the village is excellent, despite the fact that a girl of 7 years, she has come to remit 4-6. I think that if I took a dress size larger, it would be bad sat at the waist.To complete the dress petticoats went to great pomp. My daughter was very beautiful in the New Year's ball.

I ordered this dress for my 4 yr old, after having to send back another (different brand) dress that she got for Christmas that ripped on the same day she got it. Needless to say, I was hesitant about the quality of any of these costumes. We received this dress today, which arrived in a garment bag and is absolutely gorgeous!! My daughter LOVES it. It seems to be well-made and fits true-to-size. Only problem is, now my other daughter is jealous...lol

This dress is absolutely beautiful to look at and my grand-daughter loved it, but the material the jacket was made out of is so scratchy against her skin, she can't wear it. Also, the binding around the neck and arms are very scratchy so she has to wear a t-shirt underneath the dress which takes away some of the charm. Someone had left a review previous to mine regarding this problem, but I didn't pay attention and ordered this dress anyway. Next time I see a negative review, I'll pay attention to it. Don't order this dress if you want your child to wear the entire outfit, especially without a shirt underneath!
