Keyed drill chuck
I struggled using the drill chuck on my drill press. It would slip and vibrate at times. The keyed drill chuck really took care of that problem. It holds onto my drill bits allowing for smoother operation of my drill press. It was a great investment for the amount of work I do with the drill press.

Poorly Made
As some others have said in their reviews, this item is AWFUL. It doesn't turn true and vibrates terribly when turning. I threw it away and wish I had taken heed of other reviews.

Great item
Running a paddle mixer from a rotary hammer for mortar works great.

Great Replacement Drill Chuck
This is a great replacement drill chuck. I have some drill bits that have shafts larger than 1/2". None of the chucks on my power drills can fit them. So I purchased this chuck and replaced the chuck on one of my 1/2" drills with it. It was a perfect fit. It screwed onto the drill's spindle without issue and looks like it belongs. I might pick up another one for another drill. Be sure to purchase a chuck key holder if your drill doesn't already have one so you don't lose the included chuck key!

poor quaility controll
(secound chance item) fit sds drill fine, however one of the three jaws is smaller or shorter than the other two, ( possibily incorrect factory part). however drills true, but i would afraid to apply much pressure to the job.

Not able to use. The item sent was poorly manufactured
The jaws in the chuck are not accurately manufactured. When the chuck is tightened the drill bit is held at an angle and so the bit wobbles as it spins in the chuck. I returned this item for refund

Needed the extra wide capacity
High quality item with unusual width that was needed for project.

Wobbles when it spins.
I guess you get what you pay for. I bought this to essentially make a poor mans lathe. I wanted to spin a part (for sanding) that was .550 dia so it won't fit in my .5 inch chuck. I fount it surprisingly hard to find a 5/8 inch chuck that could adapt to a straight shaft less than 1/2 inch or smaller. Most of the larger chucks have tapered shanks. This did what I needed it to do but its worthless if you actually want to drill a hole. The chuck seems to spin true on the back half but by the time you get out to the front where the jaws are, its wobbling pretty bad. Just not concentric.
