Bissell Stain Pretreat for Carpet & Upholstery, 22 oz.

We have a faux suede couch that we have had for 20+ years. It got stained and dirty thanks to kids and dogs. It is very comfy, so years ago, we bought a slipcover to hide the dirt. I removed the slipcover to wash it. I recently bought a Bissel carpet cleaner and this carpet cleaning solution for our carpets. On a whim, I decided to use those to clean the old dirty couch. It worked and the couch looks great. Almost like new. No more using the slipcovers… until the grandkids and grandpuppies come to visit. Wish I found this years ago.

This pre-treat worked really well on our carpet. Our carpet had years of stains (including deck stain, water from a ruptured ice maker, pet stains, and beer- too many parties a few years ago!). I bought this hoping we could get some of the stains at least lighter so we didn't have to replace our carpeting.First, let me say I've used bissel products before and had decent luck with them, but never used a pre-treat or anything heavy duty. So I wasn't sure what I was expecting. I pre-treated the worst areas with this, spraying liberally over the really dark stains, and less on the lighter stains. I then let it sit for 5-10 minutes. (The product recommends 3-5 minutes, but these stains were baaaaaaaaaad). I then went over it carefully and slowly using a carpet steamer and Krud Kutter.To say that this product worked well would be a total understatement. Not only did it lighten the stains, but, with the Krud Kutter, it actually removed the worst ones. I'm in complete shock. I was so impressed, I shared the before and after pictures with my mother, in-laws, and all of Facebook! I was slightly embarrassed by the before pictures, but was too darn proud of the after to not share!I've included the pictures. See for yourself. I've bought 2 more bottles and will be doing the rest of the carpeting in my house this week. We don't have to replace the carpet now. So I spent $6.00, instead of a few hundred or thousand on new flooring. THANK YOU, BISSELL!

I have to say, as a mother of 2 young children who seem to always be spilling something... and a cat that has accidents from time to time .. I have tried COUNTLESS carpet cleaning products, none of which seem to ever completely get the stain up. I bought the Bissell Stain Pretreat a few weeks ago with very little hopes of this one working any better than the others I have tried.Just short of steam cleaning every time one of the kids spill etc., I wanted a product that would do just as good of a job, but less effort and at a far less mark of price. As soon as I got the spray, I sprayed several squirts on a red juice stain on the living room carpet (after testing carpet first!).. followed the given instructions and waited the 3-5 minutes, then blotted to lift the stain and dry the area. This did NOT work. I had also ordered a scrub brush with the same shipment (OXO Good Grips Heavy Duty Scrub Brush).. so I decided to re-spray the area, and scrub the stain out using the scrub brush. Worked like magic! NONE of the old stain could be seen and the carpet looked like new!All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this product! The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, is because their suggested method of blotting the stain after 3-5 minutes did not work for me personally, although I guess it depends on the type of stain. I definitely recommend getting the scrub brush mentioned above (or one you find similar), it cut my carpet cleaning time in half. Now if I could just find a sippy cup for my daughter that is actually "non-spill" and not have to scrub spots out of the carpet every week, I'd be one happy camper LOL Happy cleaning all! :)

I bought and had installed an Armstrong laminate floor. It is a white and black checked floor. Turns out the floor is a nightmare. The material the floor is made of is like cork. It absorbs dirt like a sponge. They installed this floor first in the kitchen and utility room, then when they installed hardwood on the back of the house, they installers walked all over this floor with boots. I cried when I saw what they did. I had used 409, Windex, bleach wipes, a magic eraser, Murphys Oil Soap, I tried every cleaner I owned to get the boot marks and dirt out of that floor. Anyway, I called and the manager came to my house with a bottle of this. He sprayed it on the white and it came right up with less effort than what I put into it. This is an amazing product and worked so GREAT on my floor. I use a steam mop and this stuff to get my floor clean. What a relief!!!

Took a chance on this product as I was going to use my Bissell carpet shampooing machine and glad I did. Previously we used other products and even scrubbed the areas and they didn't work all that well. With this one we sprayed it on and left it there for 5 minutes. Then we cleaned as normal with our Bissell. Did the trick and all stains are gone.
