Benzoyl Peroxide LQ 10%227GM WASH

Struggled with scalp foliculitis for 7 years and probably spent over $500 dermatologist visits and prescribed drugs and nothing has worked quite like this. I mix it with a dandruff shampoo, a prescription selenium sulfide shampoo, and a prescription sulfur shampoo and then throw it on my scalp in the shower it works quite well. No bleaching of hair like it says it might do. I used that crazy mixture of shampoos without benzoyl peroxide and it didn’t work, it seems it’s the finishing touch and from a lot of peoples reviews maybe even all I need. USE IT LIGHTY in the beginning. Omg can it make your skin itchy. Avoid getting it on your face or back otherwise you’ll get a legitimate rash. Just go to Wikipedia page of Benzoyl Peroxide and you’ll see the rash I’m referring to. It happened on my face and it was ugly and extremely itchy. Eventually your skin adjusts to it but can be rough on top of using a retinol on your face so I don’t let it get close to my face and keep it just on the scalp.l for the purposes of treating my foliculitis. If you’re using it for your face obviously you can get it on your face. If you have an active case of scalp foliculitis I will say I personally had to take a 3 week course of Doxycycline and then it use it to maintain the remission which I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do until now, before it was just cycle of doxy after doxy. Also I regrew a decent amount of hair and my hair has thickened a lot thanks to being able to treat my foliculitis.

Helps control my acne and keeps skin clear. There’s no skin irritation or dryness .

10/10 recommend, I remember getting this brand from my pediatrician when I was in middle school and it worked back then. Back then it required a prescription, now I’m an adult and my insurance doesn’t cover this as it’s considered cosmetic not medically necessary. Bottom line this stuff is strong it will cause drying at first, I don’t mind cause I’ve been using proactive on and off so it’s nothing new. I have oily combination skin, I’ve been to a dermatologist and my acne is more hormonal, so I am on birth control also which helps to an extent. Please if your able to shell out 30-40 bucks on the wash and the gel, get both. It really clears up your face fast. Side note this stuff does cause light bleaching, so if your an outside person use sunscreen. People have said it will bleach towels and clothes, and I would agree with that. My personal recommendation is to also be careful around your hairline. My dark hair around my hairline got a few shades lighter, which made my forehead look a lil bigger lol. So be careful around the fine hairs as well as colored towels and rags.

My dermatologist placed me on this but I stopped I going and I ran out of it so I purchased more from Amazon. It works well on my face and it doesn’t have a smell. It’s not drying to my skin.

This is some good stuff. I bought some for my teens and myself. I only use this twice a week. My skin is sensitive at times so it dries out quickly. Be careful around the mouth and avoid the eye area. It burns the eyes! Ouch… The size of the tube is great! It lasts me months. Works like a charm.

I've used Harris Pharma for years as prescribed by my dermatologist but, their price has been significantly increasing. After much research and reading reviews, I decided I would take a chance. This manufacturer did not disappoint! I have highly sensitive skin, use this product every day on my face, and have had no reaction. I am so pleased in fact, I took time to write this review after purchasing my second bottle. Great value, great volume of product, and just a great product.

This used to be $8 just a month ago, it is now $14... the reason I chose this was for the price. It works great. But that's not justification enough to pay double it's original price. It's a shame that they felt the need to ruin a good thing...

easy way to get quality skincare. if you know your skin works well with benzoyl peroxide and you're looking for a more inexpensive way to keep up your stock, this is it. no frills or anything but exactly what I wanted and will order again :)
