Dedicated 2 speed
I replaced a Deore 2x3x shifter which only worked on 3x for some reason, unfortunately I have 2 rings on the front.I was excited about Sram being a dedicated 2 or 3 speed. Pretty straight forward to install, I did replace the cable housing which I needed to purchased.No 2x3x switch to fiddle with just what I needed.Very pleased !

Great Economical Shifter - Not for Hard Riding
This was a replacement of the exact same shifter that I had on my XC bike for 5 years. The old X5 shifter broke around the top of the casing near the bracket, but it wasn't the bracket itself. Looks like it was due to regular stress on the upshifts. But for a budget shifter, great option. Pretty good shifting

Smooth shifting
I got this ro convert my bike fom an 1x8 to a 1x10 shifting is smooth out of the box and easy to put on my bike

Important things to know!!
You gotta make sure you have SRAM derailleur for this shifter to work properly, i bought two of these and thought they where bad, than i found out that if you have different brand of derailleur this shifter wont work properly

Junk. Do not buy.
Skips 2 or 3 gears per click, shifts up and back down. It just doesn't work right at all
