Great product. Almost the exact kind I owned fifty years ago
I have no dislikes for this product. I have some issues with the use of my hands at times so this product helps me clean my catfish, frogs and snakes when it comes time for dinner. I know people get upset about people harvesting their own wild food, but you haven't eaten until you have a plate of fresh catfish. It tastes nothing like the farm raised catfish that are fed liver pellets. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy store bought fish as well and once my freezer runs out of wild cats, I will buy from the store. Frogs are a delicacy and are amazing on the grill or in the smoker, but the skin detracts from the flavor. I par freeze my frogs so they die humanely. Once dead and prepared you de-pants the legs. I used to use a pair of pliers but now that I have these, it take little to no time to clean you frogs. Snakes are very easy to skin but my hands don't always work due to injuries, so this easily pulls the skin off leaving pure delicious meat. If you're into any of these types of hunting for wild game, this will be your go to tool. I tied a length of paracord to the handle. I don't remember if the tool has a hole in one of the handles, if not just drill a hole to accommodate the cord, then tie it off and tie the other side to your belt loop so it doesn't fall into the water as your out gigging frogs. A lesson I learned the hard way. Luckily I was able to find it after a brief and refreshing dip into the pond. Great product. I highly recommend.

Perfect strong grip perfect tool for any home
My husband had a pair of these over 30 years ago and he lost him and was so devastated. I found them on Amazon and they are just like his other ones. They are perfect for pulling catfish skin off for pulling skin off chicken. It grips good it’s the perfect size. Bigger hand very adorable.

AKA Baby Back Rib Tool
Very useful tool for removing membrane from baby back ribs. Deducted 1 star because it rusts even when dried completely. Same company makes a stainless steel version for a few dollars more.

I tell everyone to buy this
Okay... So I am not a fisher. I saw someone using this to help take the tendon out of chicken tenderloins. I am telling you, this is worth every penny. The grip is awesome it feels pretty durable. It is small, I keep it in my utensil drawer. I can pull the tendon out of chicken so quickly. My hand used to cramp up from holding a paper towel and pulling with a fork. You stilll need to use a fork but the grip on this is awesome. I also use it when I buy a large piece of salmon to take the skin off. That I am still working on figuring out, but it makes it so much easier. I used to just cook salmon with the skin off because it was a pain to take it off before hand.

Works well for removing chicken tendons
I eat a lot of chicken breasts and hate the tendons in them I saw the fork and paper towel way to remove them on line which worked but was pretty tricky and used a lot of paper towels. Then I saw someone do the same thing with this online and decided to try it, it works great so much easier and better at cleanly removing the tendons. It goes through the dishwasher well in the silverware part on the bottom so far has no rust. The quality is good.
