Blender Replacement Parts with Jar Base Cap and 2 O Ring Seal for Hamilton Beach Blender Blade 5817， 52254， 53516C，542100, 50200

Really only needed the blade assembly and a gasket but was happy to get the second gasket and the screw-on jar base in case I ever need them. So far, one use, quickly made tasty Margaritas. Just a note, tried at first to test the new parts with just ice and water. That does not work, just freezes the water. Tried that with a second blender and it also failed to make slushy water.

I hope this review ends up where it belongs, with the replacement parts for the Hamilton Beach Blender. (The features I'm supposed to rate include sheerness and thickness? A mix up somewhere for sure.)I have an old workhorse Hamilton Beach that must be 20 years old at this point. Still works like a champ, but needed a new base cap and O ring. So glad to find them here, and they fit perfectly. I can't say for sure I'll get 20 more years out of the blender, but I am looking forward to using it for quite a while with the new fittings, and now I have a replacement blade when I need it, too.Well worth the price for this kit. I'd even say get it on spec, so you have it when you need it. Five stars.

Who knew. I bout this for an ancient HB 600-1. Finally that old war-horse started arcing and worrying me.I tore it down and took a look at the brushes -- thinking I might replace them. They were worn considerably as expected but not down to bear metal. I suspect the spring tension was reduced to where the brushes were bouncing.Jump ahead to a search on Amazon and found a 600-2 that was virtually brand new/unused. Bought /received and cranked it up. Whoa!! Noisy!! Comparing the new with the old revealed a difference in the size of the teeth old vs new. Very small (3/32) but enough. Swapped the blade assy out and problem solved.In this case, aftermarket better than OEM :-)

Bought this parts for my old 52254 HB blender that was leaking, the parts fit well and work great.

We've had an old blender for years but it started leaking at the bottom of the screw on base (and the gasket looked good still.) This was the perfect fix preventing us from having to buy a new blender.
