It WORKS!
It's just SO CUTE!!!!! Seriously though, it EFF-ing GLOWS!!! You won't need much to be effective. I was absolutely not prepared for how small the container is, but not dissatisfied at all. Probably going to order the green as well.

Temu size but not price.
WOW I thought I bought this on temu. I didn't realize the bottle was so small! I wouldn't have bought it for that price. IT does glow pretty good. But not worth it to me for that price.

Flakes off after application.
The paint does glow well in the dark and is a nice white color, but we'll see. I used it on a Beretta M9 and APX A1. My first application on the Beretta M9 after cleaning the surface with alcohol, the paint literally fell right off. OK, maybe I didn't wait long enough before I handled the pistol. So after cleaning it again, and reapplying it, I let it sit for a full 2 days before touching it. After waiting 2 days, the paint on the APX A1 flaked off the rear iron sight. What I'm doing now is buying some white primer. If it falls off the sights again, I'll clean everything off, probably use acetone, and then prime before I apply the Glow-On again. No idea why it just falls off after barley handling the pistols, not impressed so far. I image it would all fly off at the range. Like I said, we'll see. APX A1 Carry Second Application Update: For the second application, as stated above, the paint started to flake off on the rear sight after curing for 2 days. So I let it sit for another few days and handled the pistol yesterday. It seems to be holding up, even after some of the paint flaked off of the rear sight. I'll leave it alone and take it to the range to see if it holds up with a live fire. M9 Second Application Update: For my second application, I let the paint cure for 4 full days before handling the pistol. I applied the paint after cleaning the sights with acetone and letting it dry. As soon as I locked the slide back and released it, the paint flew off. For my third application, I am using Vallejo white surface primer and letting that sit for a full day before applying the Glow-On paint.

The Original (white) paint is the way to go - much better than the green Glow-On
I bought the Glow-On original/white color paint to compliment and provide contrast with their green paint, with the intent of using green for the front sight on my 1911 and original/white on the rear sight. I drilled out all the white paint-filled pockets Colt applied originally to eliminate the somewhat faded paint and provide ample capacity for the new Glow-On paint so there would be plenty to absorb light for illumination in the dark. I followed the instructions exactly, cleaning the areas to be painted, used a fine pointed instrument to apply the paint and waited 24 hours before doing anything else. I then applied the paint a second time to ensure there was enough and waited another 24 hours to allow it to dry completely. After this waiting time I used my LED flashlight to activate the green painted front sight and white painted rear sight. My initial impression was the green front sight was very noticeably lower in light intensity than the rear sight so I tried more time activating the front sight with the LED flashlight again but saw little to no increase in output. Also, the green light did not stand out as being clearly distinguishable from the original/white painted sight - all color dots appeared to be white, with the rear dots definitely brighter than the front. Since there wasn't really any color difference, I decide to add original/white paint to the front sight - I did this 2 times - to improve/increase its light intensity. After the second application I finally got all color dots to show up the same intensity. At that point I applied a little clear fingernail polish to protect all the color dots. Now both front and rear sights show up with very usable light in the dark, very close to the same level of light output as the tritium & fiber optic combo sights on my wife's handgun in the same darkness. They won't glow for hours but they do glow for quite a few minutes - long enough for encounters I would need night sights for. I believe they will be good to go for quite a while and if I need to freshen them up, I have enough paint to do this several times. Besides eventually turning out good, the cost of getting night sights by using this paint, as compared to buying tritium sights, was WAY less expensive. I would do this again and recommend this method of improving standard sights (using the original/white paint only) to be usable in dark environments. Don't expect the green to work nearly as well as the original/white paint and don't expect the glow to last for hours and I think you'll be pleased with the results as well.

Amazing product buy now for gun sights
Visibility is great after a flashlight blast. Still visible in the dark on its own but not as great. In the picture is the original paint on my 1911 on the left and on the right is my ruger security 9 with HI VIZ $100 night sights on the back and the green paint color on the front sight. Nearly no difference (this is after flashlight blast for 1 second with iPhone which HI VIZ sights don’t need bust still) Original paint is the best. Green is still pretty good but not as bright without a flashlight blast. I’d recommend doing on gun sights with dot iron sights that divot down so it’s easy to drop in a speck. Get fine detail brushed for like $8 to make it super easy. It washes off with water or rubbing it after a second or 2 but when dry for a while is permanent as the top of container. Doing this on all my guns without night sights right away. Too easy
