I’ve been using this same typewriter since 2010 when I found it at a thrift shop. All it was missing was an ink ribbon. This one worked perfect and it’s the same ink ribbon and still works perfect! Fits amazing and is extremely bright. I used to write my middle School, high school and college essays on this thing and they all worked amazing. Great product!

Long lasting and works great

I bought these ribbons to go with my manual reproduction royal typewriter. I found it very easy to go back into the ribbon into the typewriter. And then flipping it when I needed to rewinding it it’s very easy. It’s just very mechanical. For those of you are expecting automatic this could be very daunting. But back in the old days, this is what we did, I’m happy to have it. It’s fun to create with the old typewriter ribbon creating word art or just typing a document or simply addressing an envelope. Good 😊 times. The ink is as you expected in the old-fashioned typewriter ribbon. But I love that look where it doesn’t look like it came out of a laser printer. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have the experience. Price was good for what it is and I’ll definitely be buying more in the future ribbons that is.

This ribbon is another great one from FJA. They always write great on all of my machines from Royals to Smith Coronas. The ribbons always make a great impression on the paper and last a while.

I just purchased a typewriter at an old thrift store for a very great price. I'm new to using typewriters and want to clean and fix any issues with the one I purchased but haven't had the time. Albeit that, I am very happy to have found a replacement ribbon at such a good price. I received a nice email from the manufacturer about sending helpful tips to get started. Which prompted me to want to write a review. Kicking my butt into gear I installed the black ribbon of the set and did a little test. The ink transfers very well. I do like that the ribbons are packaged nicely, sealed in plastic, and they're in mint 👌 condition. It also appears to be an exact match to the ribbon that came with my typewriter (Royal Parade). Once I get the maintenance done with my typewriter I hope to enjoy writing a novella in the future. 😃

The ink could be better. In the black side. It’s too dry

I bought a vintage typewriter on eBay and was worried I'd have a hard time finding replacement ribbon. Not only did this fit great, but the seller wrote an email offering assistance if I had trouble putting the new ribbon in! I will definitely buy from them again!

Pretty good typewriter ribbon that fit my 1950s Royal Deluxe Portable typewriter. They're not a perfect for for the spool mechanism but they do the job and stand up to heavy use. Recommended as you can't readily find decent typewriter ribbon for classic machines at a reasonable price. Cheaper than the stuff you will find at your local hipster-owned arts market and just as good. .
