Best tire dressing I've used so far
I've used meguiars hot shine, but it never lasted longer than a week. I then switched to stoners tire shine and while it worked well and I liked the spray and walk away aspect, it did sling a lot, unless I let it dry it overnight. As time went on, I started to prefer the matte look in my tires. I saw that you can dilute opti-bond so I tried it out. I did a 1:1 ratio with water in a spray bottle and applied with a tire sponge. It was easy to apply and after letting it dry for about 10 minutes, it gave a uniformed matte finish to the tire. I also tried a 2nd application, but it was too shiny for my preference. It also doesn't leave a filmy residue on the tires, it was dry to the touch and no sling! Seems to last just as long as the stoners one I had before. It survived two weekly car washes, but after a week's worth of rain, it wore off. I think that's true for any tire shine though. Highly recommend if you prefer a matte or shiny look (double application or single if using undiluted). Being able to dilute it makes it much more economical.

The best of its kind....period!
I've used a countless amount of TOP END tire dressings in the past..... Some have been very good and a few were excellent..... This one is simply EXCEPTIONAL! I recently ran out of my previous tire dressing [Adam's Super VRT] and my local dealer didn't have any more in stock..... He said it would be a couple of weeks and I couldn't wait that long.... For those wandering: I refuse to order from Adam's direct as I've had more than a couple of issues with them in the past that they refused to rectify.... Good products; horrible customer service. Anyway, this product was recommended to me by a good friend and seeing as it was an Amazon Prime product, I thought I'd give it a try as I would have it in my hands in two or less days.... One of the best purchases I've made in recent times! Application is the key; a little on a foam applicator goes a LONG WAY..... A brilliant Matte finish with one application; another will give it a little more sheen and a third more so.... Two applications with several minutes in between works best for me.... Make sure tires are clean AND dry..... Longevity is amazing! I've been thru three rain periods in as many weeks and the dressing is still apparent.... Dries very quickly.... Has ZERO sling or runs.... Makes tires look a million $$$..... I've found my tire dressing from here on.... Price is VERY reasonable and MUCH better than far less inferior gimmicks out there..... Very highly recommended.... Amazon, as usual were brilliant.

Like new tires!
No sling! This gel really brings out the black in your tire. Does not leave it super glossy but gives it back its original shine. You can definitely make it glossy using 2 coats but I like the new look. Works well, easy to spread on the tire and lasts way longer than cheap store bought gloss products. My tires always look like the day I drove my car off the lot because this product does not damage them (like the store bought). Must have for your garage

Great product but spills easily and leaves slippery residue
I was skeptical when I ordered this product but I'm glad I did. Here's the good and the bad: The good: - it does a great job making your tires look shinny. - it stays on for a long, long time! - it doesn't splash onto your car. - one small application will cover all of your tires, so a bottle will last you a long time as well. The bad: - You have to apply it with a sponge but the mix is so thick that even if you dilute it with water on a different bottle (as they manufacturer recommends), it ends up spilling all over the floor and on your wheels. So you have to apply a small amount at a time in order to avoid spilling, but then again, if you do that, it takes a lot longer to finish the job. - The spilled residue is hard to clean properly, especially on your wheels. Given the advantages over the two (significant) disadvantages, I'd recommend this product over others I've used in the past. Use caution though. I ended up diluting a good amount with a similar portion of distilled water and put it in a squirt bottle--although I learned very quickly not to squirt directly the stuff onto my tires, but a sponge instead.

Amazing finish
This stuff is great! Thoroughly clean your tires until the suds do not brown anymore, before applying. I do not like the extreme shine and rather have that deep dark look. I remove my tires when I clean them as it allows me to get every surface of the sidewall super clean. I then let them sit and dry in the sun for about 15-20 minutes. I use a sponge applicator and spread it evenly over the surface of the tires. I let it sit for about 10 minutes so that it will absorb into the rubber. I repeat this process two more times and finally wipe the surface with a clean towel. You will notice that as you allow it to sit and cure on the tire, the shinier it gets. All I can say is this stuff is easy to use, it's odor is not at all strong while applying, and easy to apply. I also let the car sit overnight before driving it to allow it to set in even more. It has minimal, if not, no sling at all. Optimum stuff indeed!

Optimum Tire Gel
Not sure how I feel about this product quite yet. Worked well on most of the trim pieces except for the real valance of a Volvo C30. There had been some streaking there from rain runoff. I cleaned it well, applied the Opti-Bond and it looked good...for one day, then the streaking reappeared. The tires looked good, but it took a couple of coats to get the look I wanted and waiting some time to cure, then buffing out with a microfiber cloth. Not completely sold, but not turned off quite yet. Will continue to use, but I'm still looking at other products.

Absolutely love it! Gives shine to tires, dashboard, leather, and what's most surprising, it brought back to life my old summer tires. I sprayed old hard tires with it and they became soft again and don't spin off on wet asphalt!

This stuff works great. Fairly priced. It lasts extremely long if you do proper prep - scrub tires in degreaser then rinse before applying the tire shine. Makes it last weeks at a time. If the tires are super dry/brown/old I'll do degreaser - then a reviving conditioner (such as lemon pledge) then apply the tire shine.
