After my old headphones broke after many years I finally had to get new ones. But, being a college student I only have so much disposable income. For the price I paid these headphones are great. Sound quality is good and the mic picks up my voice no problem. I also find the headset to be comfortable to wear, though it should be noted I have a relatively small head.

I've had my ZLa headphones for over two years. This is my second pair. The first pair was replaced by Turtle Beach as the sound kept cutting out when adjusted the volume control.The second pair broke the plastic holding the headphones to the band on both sides within a year. I putting packing tape around to hold them together and continued on using them.About the same time the sound started cutting out again. This time I just popped off the plastic cover on the volume control, and re-soldered the wires (yes, I am cheap).I have had other makes of headphone with the same issue where the inline volume control would get a loose connection. I think its just the nature of this design.For my next set of headphones, I will find a pair without an inline volume control to cause problems.This pair finally bit the dust after 30 months, as the wire connection at the headphone itself has broken loose, and is not repairable.

This is such an amazing and fantastic product. On the first day, it brought the mail to my door and proceeded to vacuum the floor. In the shower, it gave me a foot massage. When it came time to clean it in the washer, it did all the other laundry, folded it, and then cooked me dinner too! :) Seriously, after using this a couple times I can definitely see purchasing this product again.

For $30, you can't get a better gaming headset. (Yes, there are better ones out there, such as the Earforce X12s for example, but we are talking about $30, not $50 or more).These are great, really. My only gripe is the short cord length.

I wasn't expecting top of the line for $26, but this headset is awful. The cord has to be in the same exact position or the sound fades in and out. When I made calls with it, the people I called could barely hear me and the microphone transmitted all the background noise in my house. It was such that the call was so loud it hurt their ears yet they couldn't hear what I was saying. It only took me 2 phone calls to decide to send this back.

I've had mine for over a year and used it quite often. It's comfortable, sound quality is amazing, I've been told the mic sounds like I have a mixer but it's just the out of the box settings. You can't beat this for the price, it really is the best!

This is the best $20 headset you will find. Audio is amazing, it is comfortable, and I have gotten over a dozen compliments on the microphones quality. Definitely a great purchase.

The Turtle Beach Ear Force ZLa Gaming Headset isn't meant to be an audiophile headset. That's fine. Most gamers aren't willing to pay a big price tag for a headset, so the headphones are constructed out of inexpensive, but effective plastic.The headset sounds decent, but will distort when played at high volume. The microphone also does the job with no issues. Headset volume and microphone muting can be controlled using a small pod that's mounted on the cable which clips to the users shirt. The headset will plug directly into my iPhone or iPad and allows voice input as well as audio. There's a splitter cable that can be used to attach to systems that have separate headphone and microphone jacks.While the headset can be adjusted to fit on a variety of head sizes, the ear pieces sit on top of the ear and depending on how well they fit, can become uncomfortable after extended periods of use. It became uncomfortable after about 15 minutes for me, but my daughter didn't have any problems with discomfort.At the price point, I can forgive a lot of shortcomings, but the stiffness of the cable is probably my biggest problem with the headset. The cable is made from a fairly cheap feeling plastic and tends to stay in the shape from the original packaging and becomes snarled very easily. A more flexible cable that doesn't retain the shape would be a much needed improvement.Another shortcoming is the headphone jack. It pokes straight out from the device and tends to get in the way when holding an iPad. Worse still, the plug doesn't make good contact inside the device and will cut in and out when the plug moves, a problem that's greatly exacerbated by the cheap plastic cable.Summary:Probably just fine for most gaming applications, but the stiffness of the cable causes unnecessary annoyance.On the lighter side, the current (10/22/2013) product description from the manufacturer is a delightful mish-mash of nonsensical marketese.Especially amusing are the system requirements section. I didn't have the required 6-piece steak set. :)

Al principio están excelentes, pero yo ya llevo utilizandolos 3 años aprox y el control de volumen ya no funciona y se va notando cada vez que la calidad no es la mejor, yo en su época los compré por $500mxn y la verdad el precio justo serían $300mxn

It broke after about a month of use and I cannot return to seller. I used this mostly for VoIP and the right earphone stopped giving sound, can get a little if you jiggled the mute/volume wheel which defeats the purpose of using it on Discord.

me gusto mucho el diseño, el microfono es bueno para el precio, la calidad del sonido es buena, yo me imagina que tendría mayor cancelación de ruido pero no igual se escuchan bien, lo unico malo es cable viene algo corto para ser audifonos para PC, ya con el adaptador se alarga un poco el cable
