Buyer Beware : Whether you are buying from us or another vendor of live products, remember the following. A ) You are buying a “live product” , “Not a manufactured one”. So there is going to be a verity in the shape , size and condition of the product you receive (for example, small, medium and large are all a matter of opinion (subjective) , not facts (objective) . B ) Live products are more prone to damage in shipping and handling due to small changes in temperature, pressure and conditions (for example a pack of toothpaste can handle a verity of environmental conditions before it is effected in a noticeable way but that is not the case with a plant). C ) Some over package the live product to protect it against adverse environmental conditions, we do not because too much packaging is bad for the environment of the Earth (trash) so we try to ship our products with minimal packaging, therefor the conditions in shipping and handling may adversely effect the product in some cases, please do not over react if you receive a damaged product, simply inform us and will find a solution for you. D ) Live product are produced in life friendly environments (ie, away from pesticides and other environmentally unfriendly chemicals) , as such these life friendly environments are inviting to other small creatures as well , you may consider those “other” creatures as pests, If that is the case, we suggest you have a quarantine container available to first introduce our products in there , and when you feel comfortable introduce an appropriate selection of our product to your main aquarium. E ) Live aquatic creatures , breath, eat and poop in the same water that surrounds them, (ie, they do not have have a separate kitchen and a separate bathroom) , so the water that contains them is going to get very very dirty. So do not expect to receive living creatures in clean and healthy water after they have lived, ate and pooped in the same water for a week.

3 tablespoons of dead duckweed doesn't equal 1 pound!
Every single plant dead or dying on arrival- which equals about 3 tablespoons of dead or dying plant. There was no where near 1 pound of duckweed!! Look at the picture- 3 tablespoons is being gracious!Don't waste your time with this seller- half priced for an 1/8 of the product isnt a deal no matter how you try and spin it!

Not for aquariums, but SO much duckweed!
Packaged okay. Double bagged and firm-full of air, but shipped in a bag instead of a box. Could be punctured or popped, though it wasn't.SO much duckweed! Ordered 1000 and it looks every bit of it! Even put some in my natural creek tank (caught some little water critters and fish in the back yard). Stuck straws together to keep the duckweed from flowing down into the filters.***I do not recommend this for fish tanks! I believe it's meant for ponds. It had two little red mosquito larvae wiggling around when I poured the bag in, and had a handful of snails - both adult and baby snails and both pointy shell and round shell snails. But that's fine for my turtle tank.

Duckweed plus hitch hikers
Duckweed arrived in good condition and a decent amount. It also arrived with many other living organisms from little crawling bugs to a large variety of swimming things. I would definitely quarantine and wash well.

Not as much as I thought
Item arrived fresh and alive. Bought for 55 gal fish tank that houses a pair of Angel Fish and a pair of Blue Gourami. Needed to buy at least 3 or 4 to get the look I was going for.

Buyer beware
When it arrived was dark green. Opened it up and about gagged. Smelled like fresh cow manure. Put it in the turtle pond anyways, bad mistake. Had to drain , clean and refill the pond
