Manual Goalie Hockey Skate Sharpener

My goalie skates were feeling very dull and being in Ecuador, once just can't goto ur local pro-shop and get ur skates sharpened--and yes we have an actual hockey rink here....probably about half the size of a "normal" rink.So I did about 4 swipes on each blade.....and when I got onto the ice, wow a noticeable difference, almost to sharp, but a bit of skating cured that. Very pleased with the purchase. And yes I would buy again

I gave it 2 stars because I’m not sure if I’m using it right.... maybe I need some other piece but my impression was it’s ready to use. Didn’t really work. Good concept but like I said I’m not sure I’m using it right.

Great for edge touch ups only. If your edges are really dull, you need to sharpen them the traditional way. Also, you still will need a stone to remove big dings from your edge. This wont really do that good of a job.

Works great for a temporary edge

Had a great edge the first time I used it! Swiped each skate 4 times and it worked great!I want to mention...be sure your goalie blades are 4mm thick(not 3mm). Mine are 4mm thick. I was told by the seller to buy the player(3mm) model if my goalie blades weren't 4mm. Just a headed up.

As a goalie coach sometimes need to fix blades fast. This is tppl for that.
