Not sure about durability and water resistance so far haven't need to try those features out, this bag is made very well and I would imagine it should be perfect for saving important items from harm in case of a fire or your on a trip and want to keep things out of sight!

This is great purchase. Wonderful for travel. If I didn’t know it was there, I’d never find it.

I haven't tested the fireproof claim, but the item seems well built. It is thick enough to be sturdy and resist a little abrasion.I wanted something larger than the other options available, and this allows enough room to store the items I wanted to protect. I would definitely suggest putting clothes or a jacket in the hanger as the short length of the item might make it stand out.

So, I like the material and the zipper pocket, etc. But, if you put it as a hanger for anything except the highest turtleneck, the black top of it is very obvious (see the photos of the listing, it goes all the way up to the bottom of the hanger hook). Normal hangers don't look like that.So, I removed the hanger and looped the top of the bag over the bottom of the hanger. I sewed it in place (a few stitches on either end and a few in the middle). Now, the top of the hanger looks open/normal, and the bag is fully concealed below.So, it works great if you modify it and don't mind a little bit of sewing. I don't understand why they didn't design it that way in the first place.

Great way to hide money 💰 & valuables without no one looking for it where it is..

No matter where you live, everyone needs a emergency plan. Part of that plan is having things that can quickly be grabbed as you run out the door if time is short. This hanger can be in a coat closet with a coat over it and you can have a bit of money, emergency contact numbers, maybe a credit card or passport, extra medication - the bare bones basics you will need to be out of your house for a couple of days in an emergency. One time the Gas Company knocked on my door and said get out now, your neighbor (this is a condo, so we share walls) has a gas leak! He didn't give me any time to go find things I may need - so I ran out the door with my 2 dogs on leashes and walked to a neighbor on another street. Nothing blew up and I went home in a few hours, but it was a valuable exercise. I want to be able to grab a hanger covered by a coat on my way out the door and know I can manage if I need to.

I was surprised how sturdy this is. it's a great way to hide your valuables.
