Siemens Q215 15-Amp 2 Pole 240-Volt Circuit Breaker

Needed this for a 15 amp mini split circuit. Very hard to find locally. Workng great so far.

It's a circuit breaker. It can break the circuit. It works. What more do you want? Why are you reading a review for a circuit breaker anyway?

Installed with a hook and latch in my existing panel. Connected to dedicated table saw outlet with existing 6/2 cable, previously used for 50-A oven (wire gauge could be as small as 14/2 for this application).

Was very easy to install. Works just like it should. No complaints.

Bought to install Sense home energy monitor in our electrical panel. Works perfectly.

Both 15 amp breakers I received were heavily used. One had some sort of dirt and sticky residue on it, and on both the metal frame around the switch had it's black paint worn off from being switched back and fourth many times. They appear to be significantly used and must have been salvaged from an old house. I am concerned the switches were either on an overloaded circuit or were tripping inappropriately, why else would the switches be flipped so many times that the paint wore off?
