Are those heat resistant?

I've put a plate from the microwave on it but I wouldn't put a hot pot from the stove on it.

Do these leave an impression on a dark wood table?

I have a dark wood table and these are the best placemats I have found so far. They thicker and more durable than most and protect the table from hot plates, drinks ect. I have a 3 year old and he uses one of these placemats and it protects the table from his spills. On top of that, they are classy. They are transparent and the contrast of the dark wood and floral pattern is very attractive.

Is it dishwasher safe?

I throw mine in the washing machine on a cold wash with my clothes. I don't have a dishwasher.

Where are these made?

I don’t know for sure BUT the guess is China. I can tell you that they are easy to clean and always look nice. I would buy them again.
