Purchased this for my wife who instructs clients with pelvic floor distinctions. The quality is medical grade and it’s definitely been very useful for her during her client sessions. The one complaint as I’ve also read on here is that the pieces are fairly loose and don’t quite stick together as they should once you begin removing parts. Did that stop us from buying it? No. Should it stop you from buying it? No. Great prop, great value and quality. Strongly recommend.

For the price this is a very good model for teaching my prenatal students about the pelvis and I'm very happy with it. You will not be able to pass a baby through this. The magnetic parts that are removable are the two Sacrotuberous ligaments which are grey colored, the perineal membrane (triangle) and the 3 organs mentioned. Unfortunately the most important part of the pelvis (the pelvic floor - levator ani) is not removable. For me that's okay. Being able to peel back the other layers you can still see the 3 fibers that make up the l.a. including the coccygeus. I can't afford the $500+ versions that do detach.The bones of the pelvis are fused and do not move.
