Easy Lenormand: Quick Answers to Everyday Questions Cards – July 8, 2015

Just recently I expanded my personal reading practice of Tarot with the Lenormand Oracle and am amazed with its instant and direct response and accuracy. I started with Mr. Harold Josten deck and have so far acquired some other decks as well. I am currently studying Rana George's outstanding work (The Essential Lenormand) and should keep building my knowledge and understanding of this fascinating Oracle with Caitlin Matthews’ superb contribution to the Lenormand community (The Complete Lenormand Oracle Handbook).Then, I came across Mr. Katz's deck/book recently released, and was immediately drawn to the cards in the set. When I first opened the package, I looked at the cards and silently asked myself “How are these cards going to speak to me?” I picked up the Hanbook and randomly opened to inspect the contents, as the meaning of “The Birds” page opened up. My eyes automatically focused on the quoted statement in the second paragraph “Age-old wisdom, being awakened when others are asleep.” Not only “The Birds” card means communication, but the message (answer to my question) was loud and clear.I am very pleased with the cards, beautiful rendition of the Dondorf 1887 cards printed in Europe with an added vintage touch. The Handbook is quick and direct in describing the meanings of the cards and sometimes in a more philosophical way without departing from the general understanding of the cards meanings which makes this set a must for any beginner in the Lenormand path.Excellent introduction and solid understanding conveyed by a true teacher is a perfect way to begin building one’s knowledge and discovering how the cards naturally speak to you.At the end of the book we are treated to Mr. Katz's “Master Grand Tableau.” His technique and approach (and frames or reference, literally) have gone beyond any I’ve learned so far. I have applied this reading technique to my first Grand Tableau that has come to pass, and was stunned with the extra accurate information obtained and a deep understanding of some still obscure facets.Thank you Mr. Katz for your valuable contribution and the sharing of your knowledge is much appreciated.

I'm just thrilled!These cards are perfect; not too ornate, not too busy, no "background noise" ...They're "no-brainer" cards. They're traditional Lenormand cards, so, there's no confusion.Neutral cards, negative, cards, positive cards - You know exactly what you're looking at.The cards are well-made, stiff 2.5 X 4 cardstock; perfect for shuffling. They'll last a long time.The manual is awesome and tells you everything you need to know to get started. Notice, I said "manual".It's not a "mini-booklet" or pamphlet. It's a regular size book (150 pgs.) ... and smells good too!Everything is broken down for you, step by step. "Easy Lenormand"!Very nicely done.Happy reading!

These cards are exactly what I was looking for. I was afraid they were going to be the same size as Tarot cards, but they are perfect petit LeNormand. The book is basic, straight to the point. Perfect if you are a beginner. My only disappointment is the quality of the printing. The pictures are great, give you a traditional, old-style feel, but the quality, unfortunately, not so good. Some cards are fine, but some looks very cheap.

Some people have said that they received cards that were not the same as pictured. I almost didn't buy bc of those reviews but I decided to take a chance and ordered it anyway. I was pleased to find that the cards are the same as advertised (see poc). The card stock is good + the illustrations have soft, muted colors. Very pretty cards although the white border is a bit of a distraction. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great easy to digest book breaks everything down easily and helps add an intuitive aspect to the set meanings and teaches you how to do it! Well explained and the history behind the origin is amazing very cut throat and the cards are amazing as well I love the deck and the book has amazing tips as well! The box is well made and durable! I highly recommend this for beginners!

The book is a complete let-down. I've never read the works of neither of the authors. I found the book trying to pack information but the presented information isn't detailed or just hard to relate too. Maybe I need a different way of writing. The cards are great. The book is meh. I've done readings with the deck. It's okay, I just find it not great at pin-point and more on-point as Lenormand should. Maybe I'm simply just not good at Lenormand.

Just what I wanted in a Lenormand deck: clear images of the basic Lenormand symbols, suit and courtcard inlays, and no distracting or annoying text-all for a reasonable price. I've seen similar versions of this deck priced much higher than I'd be willing to pay. Included is a book some have criticized, but I didn't buy this for the book. The book is larger than many books included w. decks, making it easier to read; but I did find it a bit over-complicated given the nature of Lenormand. Somebody had said the author was primarily a tarot reader (I don't know if this is true), and since the interpretations work differently for tarot, this could explain the difference, if true. In any case, no complaints from me.
