I purchased my hair in April and was able to wear my Marley twists for a month and a half. I loved the texture, it made twisting easy. Yes, it did have a smell, but that’s with any hair you buy at beauty supply store. It smelled great after I washed/conditioned it. Definitely came through for me during the pandemic when the local beauty supply store was closed.

This is my go to hair for my clients when it’s come to extensions for their locs. The hair texture blend so well with the natural hair. Purchase Purchase Purchase!

I wasn’t sure about the hair when I received it. As others have mentioned it did have a faint odor to it, but I sprayed it with febreeze and it smells fine now. I wasn’t aware Marley hair was so rough. I used a decent amount of eco gel during the process so it wouldn’t scratch my fingers or dry out my hair. Nonetheless, I am SO satisfied with the end result. The pieces separated pretty easily from each other. I was able to get about 42-45 Marley twists out of 5.25 packs. I used two pieces per twists and they were the perfect size and length (lower back). I bought the 1b/30 18”. Definitely doing this style again with this hair. I also thought it was nice that they sent a few accessories with the hair. No complaints so far. The price was roughly $30 for 6 packs which is not expensive to me.

This hair is great! I wash it in non scented dish soap and moisten with do grow tea tree oil/water before adding to my hair. My favorite part is that it’s so lightweight because nothing is worse than stressing your roots and neck with heavy hair! I have a TWA so this will def by my choice of protective styling while my hair grows out.UPDATE: I am allergic to this hair and can no longer use it. I'm not sure if it's the brand or kanekalon but it sucks cause I liked everything else about it.

Update: One star. Hair looks great after braiding but the smell is still there slightly so used mouse and hair gel to mask it. I would not recommend anyone buy it. So sad because the color is lovely. And I do not feel like scrubbing the other hair to use it again.Aside from the smell of stinky socks which I have found to be of any hair coming from china since Covid. I know before hand the hair I ordered smelled of standard chemicals but the hair is beautiful.I took pics and will super soak ther hair with gentle shampoo and conditioner. I recommend buying but washing before wearing.

I ordered this hair to do twists, and was under a confined amount of time so I didn’t have time to send it back or go somewhere to get more.It was very neatly packaged, but when I opened up an individual pack of hair, the hair had a smell that I can not describe. It most definitely didn’t smell clean, and sort of smelled like chemicals. I figured I could wash it, and see what happened. So I had to do a very very deep wash on the hair, and the water that ran off was dark brown. I rinsed it until the water ran clean, and the hair smelled fine after that but that was very unsettling. I’ve never had that happen to me before when buying any sort of hair like this.Also, the ends tangle quite easily. I made it work, but you lose a lot of hair at the end trying to rip it apart. My twists came out great, but it’s not the best hair I’ve ever used.

I gave this product a good rating because of the quality of the hair and the quantity you get for the amount of money you pay…..it’s worth it. But I found a maggot embedded in the plastic bag that the hair was shipped in. Fortunately, it was lodged in the inside of the bag, between the outside and inside, it was NOT touching the hair at all. The hair was individually wrapped per bundle. So, because of this I will not be purchasing from this particular company again. I don’t want to open a package and have to kill worms and maggots every time. Great product! Bad packaging.

I got my hair done June 12th and here it is approaching 3 months (Sep 12)...my actual hair had grown out alil and the twists I have in have started looking alil unkept but they look even better than when they were freshly done (see pics & video). They aren't heavy until you get them wet, but I just squeeze the water out like a rag and let it drip and air dry. I wash them about every 3 weeks, especially at the roots and at the sight where it holds the hair because of sweat and my natural body oils built up. Not really hot on the area of the body where it covers (neck) only when in bunched together with a scrunchie on the ends.
