Amazing Educational Cut & Paste Workbook
I bought this cut and paste workbook for my almost 4 year old as a Christmas gift for under $5. This was the first cut and paste activity she had ever done. I think we finished the book in two sessions. Each time we worked on it she was super eager to keep doing more. The activities inside the workbook were educational and age-appropriate so that she was able to comprehend the information and also have fun while doing it. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children who are looking for an educational activity that includes cutting and pasting.

3 1/2 year old son is addicted to this scissor skills book!
I am primarily a stay at home mom and was looking for new preschool material for my 3 1/2yr old son. He enjoys using scissors so I thought I would give this book a shot. He LOVES this book! Each page has objects to cut out and paste into the appropriate boxes. There is practice in the book on puzzles, matching colors, categories of animals, counting, order sequencing, numbers, etc. There were a couple of pages (such as one with basic addition problems, and another with telling time on a clock), that is more into the 5 year old category of learning that my son didn't quite understand. But!! The majority of the book had items that my son could understand fully, or start to grasp well for his age. This book worked especially well because he was able to practice his fine motor skill of cutting with scissors as he is a very hands on, while at the same time learning mental concepts (which kept him extra focused). He got a bit addicted to the book and went through the whole thing within two weeks. Even if some of the concepts are a bit above the skill of your 3 year old, I would still highly recommend this book as the majority of the pages are applicable, and the little ones still enjoy cutting out the shapes for the harder pages as fine motor skill practice. It is an awesome book for a VERY cheap price. I like too that this product is actually MADE in the USA. There is also an online code that can be plugged in for an additional five free pages to print out.

Absolutely the best cutting/pasting workbook available on Amazon
We've purchased at least 4 different cutting and pasting workbooks for our 4 YO (including ones like the Carson Dellosa one, and the Modern Kid Press one), and this is by far the best one of all of them. It has the most activities, and they're actually useful. So instead of endless pages of variations on cut along this line, there are activities where your child will cut out bracelets, or puzzle pieces, or fake food, or pieces for making a paper bag puppet. The book starts off simple, and much like other similar workbooks, with a few of those cut along these lines pages, but it does get more complicated as it goes on. Halfway through, the focus switches to pasting, and the workbook instructions suggest having the adult cut everything out and the child pastes. Well, I wasn't having any of that, so I told my kid she was supposed to cut everything out herself, which she did happily. The pieces in the second half of the book are much more challenging to cut, but that's a bonus for me, since it means she's busier for longer. The pasting activities are things like, paste all these animals into the fish tank, or paste these cars into the parking spaces. The workbook also has all perforated pages, so they're very easy to tear out, and the instructions are also perforated, so you can tear those off and just give your kid the page to cut around. All in all, this is a GREAT workbook that I recommend to everyone.

Good practice book that can improve multiple skills at once...
This is a good book for a preschooler to improve fine motor skills while practicing basic knowledge. The book has 22 pages of exercises where you glue the pieces you previously cut. The cutting pages come after the exercise pages and they could be detached through perforations for convenient cutting. The last pages contain 68 stickers and the final page is a completion certificate. Most pieces are around 2X2 inch squares and the borders are marked with blue dashed lines (same lines mark the borders of where you need to stick the piece on the exercise- so there is no confusion.) There is one example where the kid needs to cut a circle rather than square (a bit more challenging.) Apart from cutting and gluing, the exercises focus on basic counting, addition tasks as well as finding the relation between two objects (like what does this animal eat or finding an appropriate location for an object in a picture.) Finally there are some tasks related to completing a picture by gluing the missing pieces (a basic version of a jigsaw puzzle) My four years old son has completed half of the exercises within two hours but he surely needs my guidance to be able to understand the tasks properly. He had some scissors practice before but I think this book helped him to be more precise. He got better towards the end. The book comes with a gift as well (if you register to an online website with the code included they let you download and print 4 more pages of exercise) For less than $4, I liked this book for most parts. My only two slight criticisms are 1- some pictures are not well drawn (like a policeman in the figure does not that much resemble one) and 2- the final sticker pages are a mixture of random stickers with no theme and purpose.

Fun workbook for practicing cutting & pasting skills - daughter approved! 😉
My daughter (4.5 years old in PreK) needed some extra practice with cutting, so I looked for some workbooks that would possibly help her and keep her interest. This particular workbook was the MOST fun to her because of the various activities on each page. My only criticism, and reason for the four star review, is that for the actual activities could be more challenging for the intended age group. I’ve included photo to show a couple of sample pages, and you can see that it’s not too difficult to determine which person gets which hat. However, the real skill being practiced is trying to cut out each individual square from the page. Since most of the shapes to be cut out are either squares or rectangles, I challenged my daughter to try and cut the pictures out themselves. They weren’t always cut perfectly, but it was a good challenge and way to mix up the activities. I would definitely recommend this workbook to anyone looking for something to help with simple cutting and pasting skills that are fun for kids. It certainly held my daughter’s attention for a good half an hour or so at a time.

Great for beginning cutting skills!
I am a former educator and homeschooling my preschooler this year. I purchased this book to get him accustomed to holding scissors and cutting. We both really enjoyed this activity book and it has been one of our favorites of the many we have ordered! We just finished the book. My 3 year old LOVED it and wanted to do a couple pages a day. I loved that the pages were perforated, full color, and had some other type of educational skill that tied into each page, like counting, etc., so they are learning other academic skills in addition to cutting. The cutting activities were simple enough that my 3 year old could do it himself with instruction and then minimal supervision from me. The sticker pages in the back were a fun bonus! Highly recommend for 3-4 year olds.

Great workbook
My daughter is 3 and she loves this workbook. It’s easy for me to teach and her to understand. Plus she’s learning motor skills as well. I will be buying this again for my baby.

Loads of fun while learning
I bought this for my 4 year-old to practice for a kindergarten admission assessment. I also bought a similar one that just involved cutting out shapes. He enjoyed cutting and pasting much better. It involves matching, colors, shapes, and counting. He had so much fun with it! It’s a fun learning tool that I would recommend.
