Multiple uses/takes the edge off
Great product. I have researched different product overtime. And I have purchased this and now I have it on a subscription. I have a dog that is extremely scared of storms. And it just takes the edge off for them to relax. I definitely recommend this product if your baby's scared of storms or loud noises. I also give it to my older dog that that has seasonal allergies and itches a lot. It has multiple uses. I love it.

Life saving pain relief
I cannot recommend this product enough! This product literally saved my dog’s life! In March, Shadow could hardly get up to use the bathroom, and would yelp in pain when he was finally able to stand up. He’s at least 12 years old that we know of, probably closer to 14.. and as large dogs go, we knew it was almost time for him to cross the rainbow bridge. We called to make an appointment with his vet to have him put down, as his quality of life just wasn’t what it once was, but they couldn’t get him in for a few days. So, we made the appointment and I started researching what I could provide to make him more comfortable in his last days. I found this CBD oil for pets on amazon, and ordered it. Within 2 days of taking it, Shadow seemed more comfortable and was able to get up with only a little struggling.. we canceled his appointment to cross the rainbow bridge, and thought he might get a few more weeks.... here we are in December, he has his bad days, but most days he’s running around the yard and back to doing his “happy dance” at meal time. If it’s weren’t for the delays at the vet office caused by Covid, we wouldn’t have Shadow this Christmas ❤️

Heavenly hounds vs Pet Hemp Oil
I’d like to start by saying that out of all the anti anxiety treats, meds, diffusers and toys we have tried we found that the heavenly hounds relaxation squares provided the most relief for our pup HOWEVER at nearly five dollars a bar they are not economical to use daily and provide a bit too much sedation for everyday life. This pet hemp oil came up recommended while I was searching for a cheaper bulk box of the bars and I decided to give it a try because 20 Dollars for a month supply is much easier for us than 10 dollars a day for the bars. Bearing that in mind I hope that this is useful to other pet owners looking for something for everyday use and wondering how it compares to heavenly hounds specifically. While this product does not have the irresistible taste or the sedative calming effect (great for some things not so great for others) of heavenly hounds it does seem to do the trick FOR THE MOST PART for our nervous and neurotic Aussie. For example the landscaping team is mowing grass as we speak and she is hiding in our utility closet vs the upstairs spare bedroom closet. One is much closer to the door than the other and she didn’t high tail it in there she just sorta meandered in there. She is clearly unamused about the mower being loud but not shaking in her boots like she normally would be. She is also one of the pickiest animals I have ever met (she scared us a while back because she refused to drink tap water until we weaned her off of rain and bottled water) but she doesn’t seem to mind the taste of this so long as we add it to her raw fish bits. The smallest things startle her and moving to an apartment has really made her anxiety go through the roof. We’ve started giving her this twice a day on top of her food and she does not seem as nervous and is more interested in playing again which is just amazing! While she doesn’t have a hard time with arthritis I did notice she stopped being gingerly with her back leg that had a small muscle strain she had gotten jumping a little too hard and a little too high for a pup at the ripe age of 7, (she really likes those fish bits) I assume the oil helped soothe the pain and it healed but it’s also possible that it simply healed up near the same time that we began using these drops. I do have to say while I’m pleased with the results and want to give it a full month to really see how she adapts to them, there are times I wish it included some of the active ingredients that heavenly hounds uses. It would be amazing for there to be a night time oil that includes the more sedative ingredients to make bedtime and very high stress events easier while maintaining the original formula for daytime and usual activities. I am also a little disappointed that the link on top of my box didn’t work as it advertises a chance to receive free oil! I was quite hopeful to get a chance to be part of the VIP oil club since I know I’ll be using a decent bit of this. I’m also thrilled to say she has not had as many accidents in the house since starting this oil as well. Unfortunately marking has become a nervous habit of hers if she is too frightened to go outside...so like when it rains, if she heard the rumpke truck or mower, or if Carlata the squirrel is taunting her that day. Yes she gets bullied by the squirrel and it is both hilarious and heartbreaking. It barks at her through the door and waits for her on the patio during nesting season. No she has never chased it. The squirrel is just kind of a jerk when it’s hormonal. All in all I think this is a pretty great product and when it’s time to reorder I plan to update this review to give it the fairest of assessments. For those who are also part of the heavenly hounds following and those just wondering; the following are the active ingredients for the heavenly hounds treats. They use no hemp extract whatsoever despite many people referring to them as dog weed brownies. This is why I think Dogs and Cats Hemp Pet Oil could really take over the market if they made a bedtime oil including these ingredients as well. Passion Flower - 220mg Valerian Root - 173mg Niacin - 17mg Thiamin - 16mg Riboflavin - 35mcg Folic Acid - 13 mcg

Might work, just not for my dog.
The product received was exactly as described! I gave this product a few months, and repurchased this for multiple months on end to give it a fair chance, but to no avail. My poor pooch was not effected by this product that it seemed. And if it did, might been a slight energy boost if that. But I mainly got this for her hips and yeah no improvement for the time span using this product. Luckily we have found something to aid my girl in pain relief.

Great stuff!
Love this stuff! Used it for my late sick pup, and now use it for my new puppies heat and her two male intact siblings! This and a onesie on everyone and it’s pretty calm around here, thankfully!

Seems to work for my cat
My cat has anxiety and was licking her fupa (cookie pouch, smooch pooch, primordial pouch, etc.) naked, so our vet suggested trying a hemp oil to ease her stress, before trying medication or other options that may effect her demeanor. She seems to like this stuff. I mix 1/4 dropper of oil into 1/2 a squeeze treat twice a day for her, and she eats it without any issues. Actually, she really seems to enjoy this addition to her food routine, so she eats it eagerly. She's definitely eased up on the over-grooming, and is starting to get a good covering of fuzz back on her fupa, so it seems to be working. I appreciate that this isn't full on CBD, but it seems a little expensive for being so. Regardless, it's helping my cat, and that is all that really matters. It lasts quite a while, so surely it's less expensive than a prescription. I'll be keeping her on it for the foreseeable future.

Does NOT have CBD, disappointed customer 🥺
When I first came across this product, I was specifically looking for something that contained CBD for my pet's medical needs. I KNOW I would NOT have bought this item if it did not say it contained CBD but I was upset to learn from the AI that it did not have Cbd after purchasing it for the 2nd time recently. Not sure if the formula changed & the label stayed the same or what. Glad I didn't hit the 'subscribe & save' option. Will try different product from same company that AI confirmed DID contain CBD but I will know to keep an eye out for when/if it changes

Seizures and Anxiety
This is my three year old pup Koda. He started having seizures a little before Christmas of 2019. Only two maybe three times a month. Nothing that lasted longer than 5 min. But I couldn’t stand to see my baby go through that. I got this product May 10, 2020 and he hasn’t had another seizure! Vet recommended some type of CBD, so I tried treats at first and they made him nauseated. When I first got this oil in May, I was unsure if it would even work. I only gave it to him once every two three days at first because I didn’t know if it would upset his tummy. The last two weeks I’ve been giving him the correct amount with his food once a day. He loves it. He also gets car sick and has anxiety when we take him for a ride. With this oil he doesn’t have either! All dogs are different and this won’t work for all of them. But for those who are skeptical, try it out! Also, Koda is a very hyper lab mix, and he is much calmer! I just bought my second bottle and my pup is right at 50 pounds! I prolly give him a little under what chart suggest. I gave 5 stars because it has helped my baby so much! But if things change I will definitely be back and update my review!! Good luck with all your babies!!
