Nice quality knife. Handle is elegant. Knife is effective for boning and slicing chicken and beef. I plan to buy some for gifts.

Recommend by a chef friend. This is the fourth Hammer Stahl knife I’ve purchased for myself, plus three more for a friend where I cook occasionally - but all her knives are dull and frustrating. (Yes, in reality - the three knives I bought for “her” are really for me!) A bit of a quality issue with some of the handle rivets not being perfectly flush, but not really a problem. All of the knives arrived quite sharp and definitely ready for the kitchen. Buy some blade guards to keep them from getting dulled or nicked in your drawer. A very attractive and useful kitchen tool!

Great knife

This Hammer Stahl 6" boning knife is beautiful, functional tool. It is heavy but durable knives are heavy considering the materials involved in their manufacture. It wasn't as sharp as I like but it didn't cost a fortune either. I find the knife comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuver. Strangely the red security tag on the box was cut before I received it causing me to wonder why. I bought this knife to cut up chickens which I haven't had to do recently so I can't give a performance review at this time.
