Have you noticed that glasses quality seems to be heading down? Too many of even well-known brands crack or break easily in the dishwasher and some are even prone to the bottom’s dropping out! We’ve been using Bormioli Luna glasses in our vacation rental for a few years. We endeavor to furnish it like a five star hotel and these are quite a bit nicer than our everyday Ikea glasses the kids slurp milk from at home. These hit the next level do to their balance, weight and the beautiful glass bubble. Alas, our guests occasionally break one so we’ve ordered more to add to our stock. One bit of advice:You’ll likely see what looks like the same design from that discount store with the big red circle. The reviews of those scared us off due to the quality issues mentioned above. Same goes for an almost exact replica of these found at that BBBY place with the coupons. The Bormioli glasses are worth the modest splurge and are impeccably made.

We wanted to replace heavy bottomed glasses because many had broken over time. These mimicked much more expensive glasses (with a bubble in the base) and they seem to be holding up well.

First, I have to admit the glasses look great. They have a nice heavy bottom and appear to be very good quality. The one down side is that the design and weight makes them a little slippery to handle when they are upside down and being loaded in or out of the dishwasher.

These glasses are look like expensive crystal with a single tiny bubble in their heavy bottoms. They are also clear and flawless, unlike many everyday glassware choices. I will buy them again, although I believe it will be a long time before these will need replacing. They hold up well in the dishwasher, too!

I like these glasses, I bought a set from bb&b. However, the set only was a mix of big and small glasses and I only needed small ones. I was so excited when I saw the glasses I wanted in Amazon

These are my favorite glasses, but I was disappointed that one was broken. This seems to get common based on reviews. I kept the other 3 because returning broken glass seemed unsafe and there was no option for credit, only return.

Great glasses. They have a comfortable feel in your hand. The weighted bottom gives the glass a substantial feel. Holds giant cube of ice very well and still gives you room to stir your drink. My new favorite glasses to drink my bourbon
