One of my favorites from childhood that I keep buying for all my kids friends! So much fun to read.

I initially bought this book for my daughter in the early 90’s and it quickly became one of her favorites so of course I had it nearly memorized back then. Now that she is a mother she was thrilled I could find it again for her son. I can’t wait to read it again with him

My emerging reader enjoyed this book. It has plenty of pictures to keep his interest. At 60 plus pages, he found it challenging but not dreadful. Engaging story about a boy, Zack, and an alligator that was received as a gift from his uncle. Love that Zack is respectful and full of adventure. Good book to transition from easy reader to early chapter book.
