I have been looking at numerous mind map book and I think that Buzan has it nailed.

This is the best book on Mind Mapping. We use it at work and the techniques are well explained. If I had to buy just one book n the subject this one would be it.

This is the book that became the game changer for me. There were other books and information that helped out but I will get back to that later. Tony Buzan's mind mapping method is nothing new, because the idea of brainstorming/spider webs/ whatever you want to call it, existed when Leo Da Vinci was creating the blue print for the helicopter.This book came to me by listening to Dominic O'brien in Quantum Memory. So with Dominic's teachings on Ebbinghaus, if I spelled that right, Tim Ferriss' speed reading method, Spaced Repetition, and those good ol' flash cards, I learned Tony's Mind Mapping method, and I took off. I'm sure that other people have figured out how to use mind mapping to great effect, because I know I have.I only gave this book 4 stars, basically because I went to do some research on how to learn, but really, I'm not bitter, lol! This is a very good book on the basics of Mind Mapping. Please get this book if you want to expand your horizons. It was a very interesting book inwhich I learned a lot. a very easy read.

not what I wanted - was looking for a book to use with students who are looking for alternative ways to organize class and text notes to study
