Salter EK3564BLACK Skandi 3 kW and 1.7 Litre Jug Kettle, Black

Very nice looking kettle, with a unique style. It has a large capacity and boils fairly quickly. Downsides are it is quite a loud boil, and the lid is very hard to remove (high resistance) particularly when the kettle is hot. I do like the wooden handle a lot. No variable temperature control.

Really love this kettle, it looks great! Was worried after reading some reviews about it leaking but mines been totally fine so far. It is pretty loud when it’s boiling but other than that can’t really fault it

Not sure if we’ve got a faulty kettle but the jug is red hot to touch after it boils to the point where it can burn you. I’ve never known a kettle to do that before and if you knock your hand in it while pouring it burns. It’s also quite loud when boiling in comparison to out last cheap basic kettle. I like the style though!

Whilst this kettle looks good it certainly wants you to know it’s in the room!!’ It is ridiculously noisy- so bad you can’t have a conversation when it’s boiling. The lid is very tight and you can’t fill through the spout. If I’d kept the box I would want to return it. Very disappointed

This kettle isn't great. It looks nice enough but wobbles on the stand, feels cheap , some aspects look cheap (the spout and base). The rim of the lid (silver part) gets hot after use so can burn hand.

I love the look of this kettle, but six months after buying it it's developed a leak in the clear measurement panel under the handle, which has dripped into the on/off switch and damaged the electrics.

The kettle is fine but after a week's use, I realised the measure was upside down! Still does the job just a bit annoying

It now does a really odd thing... it starts boiling a bit, then stops (but the switch doesn't click off) then the blue light comes on again and it starts up the boiling process again, then stops and blue light goes off.. then same again (rinse and repeat).Eventually, it boils and the switch click off.Had to buy a new kettle - after less than 8 months!
