Pebeo Fantasy Moon Chocolate Paint
I purchased the Prisme Fantasy studio kit from Amazon and wanted a add some more colors to my collection. This is a nice rich brown that looks really good with prisme gold or apricot moon. Pebeo paints can be used to create glass and metal jewelry, abstract designs on canvas, liquid panels or glassware, and can be used in mixed media creations to compliment other textures. This paint is solvent based and mineral spirits are needed to clean your brushes, hands or to remove errors from glass. Your work surface will need to be prepared for this type of paint. Thin coats seem to work best and a little bit goes a long way. Although you can use a pipette or brush to distribute this paint on larger surfaces, I would use something much smaller for small surfaces. For glass squares for jewelry, I used a wooden screwer made of bamboo so I could control the thickness and swirl the paint. Paint does begin to thicken quickly & becomes sticky, so you want to add colors while the first layer is wet. Paint dries to a glossy finish & creates it's own effects. Not for children but could be used under supervision where a lot of direction could be provided. Recommended for artists and serious crafters.

Gorgeous! Love for painting models
Iβm absolutely loving this stuff! So glad I went on a whim and tried it on my resin pieces. I paint details on cured resin models by hand and this paint is the closest to the gloss/texture of resin that i have found. Iβm so excited to buy the rest of the colors!

Great stuff
LOVE this. I was a little worried about it because the Prisme seems only to work when it's very thickly applied, but the Moon looks great at any thickness. I plan to use glazing resin to finish my projects. Since this is oil based, I don't think many glosses I have would work to cover it and I want a very smooth finish. I used Mona Lisa brush cleaner and didn't even have to swish around the brush. The paint came right off.I have one project that I used a crackle medium on and didn't like. I painted over it with Moon and now you can see the crackle through the Moon. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Nice sample kit!
Great sample kit! A good selection of colors to try. The bottles are small (about 1/2 oz. each), but a little paint seems to go pretty far. The colors have an opalescent/metallic look to them. Some reviewers say that these paints have a strong odor. I am very sensitive to chemical odors/perfumes and such, but these paints didn't bother me. There is a slight odor, but not as strong as spray paint. I used them indoors and haven't had a problem. What little smell there is disappeared once the paint dried. The price is somewhat expensive in my opinion, but considering the paints are a product of France and have to be imported into the US, I guess the expense is justified. I would recommend this kit to others. It is a good way to sample the colors before investing in larger bottles of pigment.

Stir it well, don't shake it.
Followed what others suggested about stirring and not shaking, used the end of a paint brush for stirring and painting -not the end with the bristles-. Beautiful cells form when the color stays in one place, beautiful paint when it moves around.. and it will move around before it dries. Took a couple days to dry completely. Used it on top of acrylic paint and it looks beautiful.

Pebeo paint
I am an "artist want to be," but that doesn't stop me from dabbling hahaha π€π€πI LOVE these paints! The are so easy to use and the colors are so vibrant.I have a few types of this brand and all of them are great. But like many great products, they are on the expensive side. I just limit the size of what I am playing on. π€π€π

Interesting media for mixed media art work
I am not really happy with the effects of this medium. Itβs kind of strange but I can see it having itβs place. I think I need to work with it more.
