Very versatile

watch the voltage & wattage
Using this to power 6 marquee style battery powered (3 VDC) letters.Each consumes 6 watts total of 36 watts. The power supply handles 60 watts total.It's a variable device adjustable from 3 to 24 VDC. Trouble is the lowest setting is 3.9 not 3! Beware if you have voltage-sensitive devices. The adjusting knob seems a bit flimsy. The AC supply cord is less than two feet long.IT comes w/many different kinds of adaptor plugs - plus!

Purchased for a Go To Telescope mount
The mount keeps giving me "low voltage" indications on the power switch. The mount will run with 11 to 16 volts. The circuit board even at 16 volts blinks but it works. It appears to be a "fault" with the mount itself. It works, I'll let it be.

It worked until it didn’t…
Ordered this to power my LED LIGHTS on top of my cabinets. It worked great for 2 months (and 3 weeks past the Amazon return window). Turned off today and won’t turn back on.

Variable PS that isn't a POS but worth having around
Variable power supply (starts at 3v) with a low amperage output but useful enough to keep on the repair bench for quick assessment of parts and prototype setups. Have used it several times in the first month and came to appreciate it; the many connectors and the pin-out screw connector puts it to work easily. Will look into getting the next higher amperage version this year for another bench.
