it does make it easy. The android app is bad when compared to ...
The item works well in most cases and has truly helped me to leave most of the cards I used to carry at home in the LoopPay box. I have come in contact with a few merchants not wanting to or just not caring about learning how to use it for a few seconds but when you're the one swiping the card, it does make it easy. The android app is bad when compared to the iOS app and so is the Bluetooth connection. I assume this is more of an issue with android than LoopPay. When I say it's bad, I don't mean it's unusable because it is very usable it just takes a while to connect to the device when you've had Bluetooth off. For most people that keep it on, this won't be a problem but I like to keep it off until I need to use it and that sync happens much faster on the iPhone. It also seems that on the android app, that you have to basically repair the device after you've turned off your Bluetooth. But you only repair it with the app and not the device itself. It's weird but completely usable and recent updates to that app have made this process faster. I think that it is faster than taking out a card if it's already paired to your phone and you have Bluetooth on.

Works fairly consistantly.
This is handy for the times where the stores don't yet take ApplePay or Google Wallet The cashier is more often than not confused when I hand the device to them but once I explain to them what it is they think its pretty cool. It works around 85% of the time I'd estimate at places where it "should" (it doesn't work at ATMs or gas pumps outside for example). I feel it should work at walmart since they have a traditional credit card swipe but it doesn't for whatever reason. I would suggest this over the key fob as it is much more versatile and has a higher success rate (I have both) and this fits in your wallet or you can use the included sleeve to attach it to your phone as well. Once Applepay and google wallet is more widely accepted this won't have as much use for me personally but for people with phones that aren't compatible, stores that aren't compatible, or credit cards that aren't compatible with the newer mobile payment systems this is a great alternative. There is however no reason to use this over Applepay or google wallet if you have that option available to you and the store accepts it.

... guess if you are an iphone user it works fine. As an Android user you should think twice
I guess if you are an iphone user it works fine. As an Android user you should think twice. The Bluetooth connection has bugs and the looppay card tries to re pair with your phone constantly. Over and over and over, it is enough to make you crazy :)Looppay used to have a nice community where other users and the company tried to help with issues but for some reason they killed it. There were a bunch of us posting there with the same issues. I suspect there were to many problems and they felt it was bad publicity. A fix was promised but so far it has not materialized.Bottom line is I think the product may be good in the future. Android users should think carefully if they want to be beta testers for this new tech.

Pretty Cool
When I heard this product, I thought it was pretty cool, after trying out in places I went, Smiths, Red box, Office Depot/Max, Walmart. The ones that don't work like ATMs and gas station (for gas pumps, they require to insert a card in, but there is way to work around it watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeJwm3KSzAA ) It works almost anywhere that accepts mag stripe readers, so far I haven't hand any problems yet, and its very secure protected by your pin.

Something everyone can use
To anyone that is skeptical of buying this like I was, you need to get it. It's really awesome to see people's face when you use it, and I have had many people say they wanted to buy one. I have every card in my wallet on this and it works flawless. The only time it has a hard time completing a transaction for me is on a cardreader for an iPad, something like the Square.

Worked great... for a while.
Expected a longer life out of it. Worked great, but I bought it May 16th, and by September it was no longer working. Thinking of getting another card, but the FOB is working good. Just forgot to charge it for a long while. Starting to prefer the FOB.

Best pay system out there.
I love the system. The wow factor is fun at a store. Much better then Apple Pay or Google Pay. I leave all but one of my cards at home now.
