Amazing Decaf! Fine grind, beautiful flavour possibly to do with the stunning aroma!

Purchased this by complete accident as I was looking for beans not ground coffee. Rather than throw away I thought I'd at least try them and I was pleasantly surprised! I take one sugar in my coffee and with sugar it delivers quite a caramel taste however this will be different without of course. For me it's quite pleasant especially for decaf and it's fine enough to use for an espresso (or latte which is my drink of choice) I'm no expert but I do like my coffee and I would compare this to Costa coffee which if you can make at home is only a good thing. I've literally only just purchased and will try a slightly stronger shot next time (for my taste) but Im very happy with the coffee.

If like me you are reduced to drinking decaffeinated coffee for health reasons, it can sometimes be a struggle to find a good flavoured coffee that isn't bitter. Having lived abroad for a while, I decided to try and find some decaffeinated coffee from a German or Austrian supplier. Having found two different varieties, this gives me a slight difference between the tastes, but both are characterised by a good strong flavour, without being bitter. This is my preferred choice for my hot coffee, and I prefer the other one for cold brew coffee during the warmer days. However, I can swap them quite happily if I wish to have a slight change of taste. A little goes a long way, but if you want to make it stronger you can without losing any of the taste to acidic or bitter undertones. I have made coffee using a coffee filter machine and the pour over method, as well as a French press. It comes out consistently flavoured using all three methods. It is also pretty good value for money. At first glance it seems expensive per bag, but it is actually for a quantity around twice the size of the average bag of ground coffee you'll find elsewhere. Once that is taken into consideration, it's not badly priced at all. I love this brand, and it's my new favourite coffee. I sigh in pleasure every time I take that first sip of coffee in the morning.

This is not right, it’s undrinkable I do not leave poor feedback unless absolutely necessary - this is devastatingly disappointing. Without exaggeration, never have i thrown coffee away before, yet I cannot drink this… i sprinkled it into the soil outside so it can go back to the earth. Turkish coffee is great, this is not Turkish coffee. Please are you able to advise what has happened here? I brought 3 packs & other people have sampled it to the same conclusion so this is not a matter of personal taste. The organic version of this brand was fine, but also I found the expresso style beans lacking any real flavour. What can be done?

Purchased this when the price was below £10 per kilo as my local supply was nearer to £15, thought it would be worth a try and no loss if it was awful. Not only is it not awful it is very, very good. Strength, flavour, aroma and colour all as good as Taylors but a much better price. I'm quite happy to use this and Happy Belly in rotation for my de-caf fix.

Well this is great coffee. At the price, it was worth trying - if it was horrible it could go on the garden! But no issues at all - finely ground, great for our cafetieres. A dark taste, almost chocolatey perhaps but a fine flavour. We've had friends here and served it to them and they all remarked how nice the coffee was. Won't be buying anything else, this is really good stuff.

Not entirely sold on the flavour, but that's subjective. But the grind is too coarse for Turkish coffee, it should not feel gritty when you rub it between fingers, and this coffee does.

Value for money for sure, but I usually wait when is discounted, nice taste for decaf, good aroma as well, sealed well but once opened better move to different container, good quality

Essendo un 100% Arabica a tostatura media, non ha l'intensità, la corposità e la crema densa e scura del classico espresso da bar italiano (che spesso contiene una parte di Robusta). Potrebbe risultare "leggero" per chi è abituato a sapori più forti e decisi. Macinatura Unica: La macinatura pre-confezionata è un compromesso. Sebbene versatile, non sarà mai perfetta come una macinatura fresca e specifica per ogni singolo metodo di estrazione (ad esempio, potrebbe essere leggermente grossolana per un espresso professionale). Aromaticità Fruttata: Le note leggermente fruttate e acide, tipiche di molte Arabiche di alta qualità, potrebbero non incontrare il gusto di chi predilige un profilo di sapore più orientato al cioccolato, alla nocciola o al tostato intenso. Esperienza d'Uso Tipica L'esperienza con questo caffè è un invito a un consumo più lento e attento. All'apertura della confezione, l'aroma è fragrante e complesso. Preparato con la Moka, il caffè che si ottiene è di un colore ambrato, più chiaro del solito, e sprigiona un profumo invitante. Al gusto, è morbido, rotondo, con una punta di acidità vivace che pulisce il palato. È un caffè perfetto per una pausa pomeridiana o da gustare lungo, piuttosto che come "shot" di energia mattutina. Conclusione e Raccomandazione Il Der-Franz Crema Biologico è un caffè eccellente, prodotto con cura e con materie prime di alta qualità. È la scelta ideale per chi vuole esplorare un mondo del caffè diverso da quello tradizionale italiano, apprezzando l'eleganza e la complessità aromatica delle pure Arabiche. Lo sconsiglio, invece, a chi cerca nell'espresso un'esperienza di gusto forte, amaro e corposo. Consigliato agli amanti del caffè filtro, della Moka "gentile" e a chiunque prediliga la qualità aromatica all'intensità. La Dritta in Più Questo caffè 100% Arabica dà il meglio di sé con metodi di estrazione che ne esaltano l'aromaticità, come il caffè filtro (V60, Chemex) o la French Press. Se usate la Moka, la dritta fondamentale è usare una fiamma molto bassa e toglierla dal fuoco non appena il caffè inizia a gorgogliare, per non bruciare i suoi aromi delicati. Evitate di pressare troppo la polvere nel filtro. Questo non è un caffè da "strapazzare" con alte temperature; trattatelo con delicatezza per godere appieno delle sue note più raffinate.

Buono e conveniente con qualche importantissima avvertenza: adatto solo a bevitori di caffè abituati al gusto europeo, con metodi di estrazione a filtro. NO moka o espresso. NO fissati sul caffè del bar, cortissimo e spesso bruciato. Qui il sorso è dolce, terroso, con note di frutta secca e datteri, cioccolatoso leggero nel finale poco amaro ma lungo e abbastanza secco.
