Taste is pretty much perfect
Great product, taste is amazing, when I first got it I didn’t think it would go far…it definitely goes farther than it looks. I like the ingredients, I love that I don’t have to find all the ingredients or prepare them myself. Very good product (but I like it spicier so I add more gochugaru to my kimchi). I maybe used a quarter of the jar for just one head of cabbage and I may have used a bit too much. Good for the price and easy to use.

SO EASY TO MAKE
Love this product--we've ordered a few times. We love kimchi even more when we can easily make our own with this mix. Probably would order more often if it weren't so pricey.

Over priced compared to retail store. Tsar is amazing and goes in most things.

LOVE this stuff
When my local store stopped stocking this, I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. It has a deep, complex, spicy (but not too spicy) flavor that I love. I especially like it with a bit of vegan mayo on veggie burgers and sandwiches.

Savory and a little spicy, so versatile
Great flavor, especially since I'm easily overwhelmed by fish sauce. Extremely savory. I love adding this to a broth of garlic and ginger braised chicken thighs. Adding cabbage, scallion, carrot, and soft Korean style sliced rice cakes / tteok makes a delicious, filling hot bowl of medium spicy soup for a cold day. The broth is honestly my favorite part, really good and so easy to customize the amount of kimchi paste to taste.

Was given as a gift & it was leaking so I doubt the person used it.

GREAT PRODUCT
I use this when I make and ferment my own kimchi. One jar is good for about 4-5lb of Napa cabbage. I do add extra gochugaru, tablespoon of sugar and a table spoon of fish sauce for a more authentic flavor. I then add it to my fermentation Tupperware thing (also got on Amazon for about $25) and leave it on my counter for 4 days and it is DELICIOUS! I was very skeptical at first being half Korean and knowing what real kimchi is. The smell in the jar smells straight up of plain gochujang but I promise ITS OKAY! trust the process, it’s awesome!
