Excellent quality and features at the price!
It is a gamble when ordering these types of items online blindly, I have had a few various brand emergency radios in the past and some that were double this one's price and failed to meet my expectations. My expectation is that the device at is able to provide it's own source of power to operate the flashlight for a reasonable amount of time and provide a clear audible emergency weather broadcast. Anything more than that is wonderful to me.This device has a bright light, the radio and emergency weather broadcast functions well with great reception from the antenna indoors, it only takes a minute of charging using hand crank to provide over an hour of light and about 15 minutes of simultaneous radio and light which is nice. The solar charging seems sufficient for emergencies, I had it sit on a window ledge for about 6 hours of clear sun and it provided enough charge to power the device for about 30 minutes of continuous light and radio. When fully charged using USB it was capable of charging my Galaxy Note 9 phone around 15% before unable to charge anymore. The device still had enough charge remaining to run continuous light and radio for another 30 minutes, it probably just does not provide enough juice to maintain the USB charge on the phone after a certain % of battery is used. I fully charged the radio using USB from dead to fully charged in about 1.5 hours. I was able to charge a dead 0% battery Galaxy S4 up to 38% before no longer charging further, and again the radio still had charge left to run continuous light and radio for about half an hour. The hand crank and solar panel does not seem to charge other devices externally via USB, it only functions to charge the internal battery. It is a handy battery pack for emergencies, packaging says 1200mah and that seems about right. I plan to buy several more of these to toss into prep kits for car and home. Very happy with this radio for the price you cannot beat it!

Great product. Charges iPhone 6s
I ordered one but the USPS lost it. Thankfully my sister actually bought one for me without my knowledge for Christmas. She knew I wanted one of these and it is the best seller on Amazon, so she easily found the one I wanted :) She gave it to me early since she had to go out of town.I immediately put this to the test. I let the battery drain with the radio and lights on until it died then I measured how long I had to crank to get x amount of light time or radio time.Light: I cranked for 15 seconds at a rate of 1 rotation per second and i was able to power the LED for 8 minutes.Radio: cranked at 1 rotation per second for 15 seconds and got 1 minute of radio.Cellphone charging: I turned off my phone at 8% capacity. I cranked for 60 seconds at 60rpm to charge the radio battery then I plugged it into my iPhone 6s. I got the phone to 9% power after waiting a few minutes of letting it charge.I know it doesn't sound like a good phone charging option because it is not, but it does work. And in emergency situations all that matters is having something that works it doesn't have to be amazing. You can power the light, radio, and charge your phone at the same time if you keep cranking. If you really needed to make an emergency call on your dead cellphone this thing will power it with the hand crank alone. You don't need to charge the battery first inside the radio. Even if you have to crank it for 10 minutes straight to get 5-10% of a phone charge then this thing is already a lifesaver since there is no other way to charge your phone in the wild. If you want a better hand crank generator then you need to get a bigger and more costly one. You can't beat this price and size.Side note: when charging phones it is best to turn off Wireless and Bluetooth radios on your phone. It also helps to completely turn off your phone while charging in emergency situations. This will help it charge faster by using less energy. The LED is pretty bright, it won't help you see too far down a path, but it will help you watch your step while walking . The best part is the LEDs use hardly any energy so a few cranks will power it for minutes. The Radio reception is great, the tuning is sensitive, but not impossible to use. Volume is easily adjusted and is plenty loud for a group of people to hear. I found all my local stations with ease. I like how it can also tune to the weather broadcast.Awesome product for my 72 hour kit!

Great radio, not so great crank handle
Really like this radio, as it picks up stations well, sound quality for a single speaker is really good, and sometimes, I don't even need to have the antenna up. The flashlight is nice, having 3 brightness settings, with the 1st being nice and bright for most situations. And as a phone charger, this works fast!My one issue is that the pin that holds the crank handle in place fell out after a few days, and it's not one that can easily put back in and secured. It's not a hard fix though, as a strong paper clip or some wire will work. The crank handle may be a little wobbly after this fix, but being that there are 2 other options to charge (solar and USB-C), you might not even care that much if the crank handle falls off.

Great value for a compact emergency radio
This little radio has a great sound, and it's packed with features. I gave it to a relative who was concerned about not having a radio for the upcoming hurricane season, and she was absolutely thrilled with the strong sound, the ability to be able to charge it with the hand crank or the solar panel, and the fact that it also includes a flashlight. She likes the small size, and uses it to listen to regular broadcasts when she sits on her porch. Recommended.

Great to have on hand
I woke up the other day to my power being out, so I was really glad to have this! I charged it as soon as I received it, so it was ready to go. It charged up my phone fairly quickly. If you’re in a pinch, you can wind it manually to get it going- and, it has a wee solar panel, too (which I’ve not yet had to use). There’s also a radio- and it receives the local terrestrial stations well (even our college station came in very clearly)! This would be great to bring camping but I’m just happy to have it for hurricane season!
