Been using this rope for about 2 years now and its still holding up pretty well, if you can try jot to use it on concrete much as it will damage the rope over a long period of time. Strong and well made. Would definitely get another.

This was my first speed rope I ever bought and it was a great purchase! It lasted me for YEARS, and the added bonus that it came with a replacement wire made it last even longer! You do have to occasionally check the locking mechanism as sometimes it would come a bit loose. A few times the wire and handle came apart while I was using it, but thankfully I was indoors so I was able to relocate the screws, but it could have potentially been very dangerous as the wire rope went flying. The rope is very lightweight, and was a good rope to learn double unders with, although I would recommend a different rope if that’s what you’re exclusively looking to accomplish. Overall, good value for the money.

Decent value. Product won't last long but is also hella cheap. You get what you pay for

I am a long time Crossfitter, but have always struggled with double unders. Prior to buying this rope, I was using an RPM jump rope - nothing wrong with it, but it was too fast and light for me and I was never able to adjust to its speed. I have also tried Buddy Lee jump ropes in the past, with some degree of success, but both ropes I purchased had quality issues. After a short period of usage, the screw-on nut that connects the handle to the rope became loose, and was impossible to keep tightened. After reading all of the positive reviews of this WOD Nation rope, I decided to take a chance and give it a try. In my first WOD with this rope, I was able to string together 15-20 double unders several times. That was without practicing! I feel confident that with practice, I will finally be able to master double unders with this jump rope. The rope spins very well, and is slightly heavier than the RPM rope, which allows me to better sense the rope's position and time my jumping correctly. Faster is not necessarily better - if a rope is too fast for your ability level, it is just as frustrating as a rope that is too slow. This rope is perfect. Adjusting the rope to the perfect length was very simple - took me just a few minutes. I followed the instructions I received and used a wire cutter. Highly recommended.

I was a little skeptical about getting this jump rope at first and I thought the handles and adjustments would be a bit tricky but not only was adjusting the length very simple, it feels amazing to skip with. Super light, and great for speed/cardio skipping. The only negative is that the handles feel a little too light as they are plastic and hallow, so using a little strip of leather, I squeezed in a metal bolt in to each handle and hammered them in tight, and now the handles feel great with a little added weight to them. But even the light handles aren't enough to deduct a point, as for $17, this rope is a bargain

The WOD Nation jump rope was one of my first purchases after started CrossFit. I wasn't sure if I was going to stick with it, so I didn't want to invest a whole lot into gear right away. A year later and I can say I have upgraded already from this rope. For the price, it's a nice starter or back up jump rope. A few things I will say is that the hardware that it comes with isn't the best and I've had to crank down on the adjustment screws to get them to stay in place. I like that they provide an extra cable in case you don't cut the first one the right length or the first one breaks. I would also say if you are new to learning a skill like doubleunders, there are better ropes out there that a) have a much smoother rotation and b) have some more heft to the rope to help with timing. This is a pretty light rope and can be challenging for those newer to learning that skill to master. To be honest, I'm not sure if I were to start over again that I would have purchased this rope again. I probably would have just invested in something a little nicer with a fixed length for my height and never looked back.

I purchased this rope to replace my current rope which was starting to show it's age. I've used a few different ropes over the last three years, I am a member at a CrossFit gym and typically have a workout including double unders at least once a week. I also use the rope in skill practice and warmups. This rope is the best rope that I have purchased for a few reasons. First the handles are a good size, some of the ropes that I have bought have had giant handles that really made no sense for the design of the rope, these ones are not as small as some ropes that I've used, and also not as large as others. Also the end of the rope is metal instead of plastic, making it seem as though is should be more durable. Secondly the rope itself. One rope that I purchased had a cable that was so light you lost it everytime you tried to keep it moving around your body. There was no feel that that rope so it was always getting tripped up because it was hard to know where it was. Other ropes have used a heavy cable, which is good for learning but hard to keep up for long sets. This rope uses a cable that is a nice balance. They also include two in the set, and they're the same weight so when one starts to wear you can switch them and the rope is good to go still. Third and finally is that this is the first rope that I have purchased which came with a bag to keep it in. This way it's always organized and when it's in your bag it's not wrapping itself around everything else that you've got in there. I really have enjoyed this rope in the week that I have had it and it is a step up from the other rope which I have been using which was also an Amazon purchase.
