Best bang for Buck pedal ever. Noisy tho.
Wanted to build a mini board for small gigs/jam nights and wanted a mini Klon style pedal. I run an Archer Ikon on my big board and this thing blew me away at how good it sounds and how close it gets me to my Archer. Never spent so little to sound so good.Pushing an amp at breakup and using this with the gain on almost full the tone it produces is incredible considering the price.Extremely satisfied and highly recommend.Tis a bit noisy tho.

Good for the money
Let's face it, making 'standard' guitar pedal circuits isn't rocket science. Why not make them in China with the economies of scale? Yer basic Klon / Screamer / Muff type things are now essentially generic, and the vast majority of guitarists (and 100% of their audience) isn't going to care. Go cheap.This is a solid Klon Klone pedal which works really well for a transparent overdrive. It's power only, no battery. It sounds great in my setup.For some reason, there is a category for 'sheerness'. I Googled and got this:"What does sheerness mean in Amazon reviews? "Sheerness" is a term used for describing how see-through a piece of fabric is. It's possible the product you are trying to review has been incorrectly labeled as such, and is why you are being asked to rate it's Sheerness."So it gets 1 star for Sheerness, because I can't see through it, because, it's, y'know, a guitar pedal. Perhaps this is supposed to be something to do with the transparency of your tone? Or just mislabelling? You choose.

It might sound good, if you get a working one, or the right pedal
First one turned up faulty. Lights came on when switching between active and bypass but the sound did not change. Must have been wired incorrectly. Replacement turned up next day, very prompt, but it was a Tubeman instead of a Horseman. Bit of a waste of time. I can understand faulty units, at this price point it is impossible to deliver 100% working units but frustrated to get the wrong unit as a replacement.

EXCELLENT KLON CLONE
Thought I'd give this a try after watching on line reviews great pedal very TRANSPARENT signal can be either true bypass or buffered works great at driving valve amp on overdrive pushing valves further and added sustain . I would definitely recommend.

Good way to try out the Klon sound thing without spending much, quite versatile,, clean boost plus some decent gainer tones in silver mode, build is fine for money but knobs are budget and have little feel to them, overall good value but I’m not sure I’d use it live?
