Would this be okay to use for a few days on a camping trip if plugged into the mains, would milk/meat stay fresh or is it really just a day trip use?

I had a cooked chicken and some milk in it for 2 or 3 days recently and it was fine. You'll need a mains adapter as it only comes with a 12v. You'll need to take account of the weather too, if it's boiling outside it may struggle to stay cool enough and obviously don't stand it in direct sunlight. So, it should be ok, but you'll need to keep an eye on it, as it doesn't work the quite the same as a fridge.

This cool bag acquires quite a large pool of water in the base with use. Has anyone else had this problem! Plugged into a mains adaptor so worried.

I have the size down and never had any water pool. Had ice build up but just turned it off for awhile with no issues. I have also had spills in it with no impact to the function

Yes the adaptor lead connects to the bag and the other end is a standard cig lighter plug.. But could be changed to any connector you choose Excellent product and does the job.

How long can you keep it plugged in , can it be used for overnight camping ?

I’ve kept it going for several days. However I use a deep discharge battery as auxiliary. Then I can start my camper van! Or if I’m a hotel I use a connection from 12v DC to 220v AC. Either that or I get the hotel to put me in a room where I can safely string a cable from the room to the van
