Vessel giving problem manual need to phush vessel for release steam

Really a good pressure Cooker

Just checking do we need to manually release the pressure in this by pressing the button or it keeps releasing the pressure.

The product is incredibly confusing to use. A cooker without a whistle? wow! I never figured it out. It was overflowing and created a mess in my kitchen.

Don't give it more than 15 minutes for any stuffs, yes i said any.Plz follow the manual diligently as it doesn't come with Whistle.

The cooker looks nice outside it came chipped and the lid doesn’t close properly .. I didn’t like the seller’s attitude of calling me pressuring me to buy a product that is not fit for purpose. And now the cheeky of it they are refusing to refund full amount… I purchased from Amazon therefore Amazon will refund me in full….

Purchased this as the vendor description (image attached) specified " Suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and Induction cooktops. "Was excited to receive delivery and immediately was very impressed with what I saw upon opening the packaging.- looked very durable and esthetically well designed- apears to be easy to use and intuitive- good set of manual and documentationsSo wasted no time in trying it on our induction cooktop to find:- manufacturer's false advertisement or claim as induction compatible.Therefore not recommended for induction stovetop use, as simply won't work with it.

Mixed feelings about this one. On a positive side: looks good, thick heavy material maintaining the heat rather well, the dishes worked out ok. On a negative side, the box it arrived in was moulded. Also, the cooking is somewhat more stressful as its hissing is different to more traditional pressure cookers, so I am always guessing whether it's going to explode or it's alright for this model.Ultimately, 5l is perfect for a family of 4, considering you can't fill in these cookers to the full. It fits average birds and briskets.

The pressure cooker lives up to its name - Futura. It looks futuristic and works as intended. Cooks food fast and very easy to clean. Some reviews mention that the lid is hard to insert into place, but I did not have any issues with it. Well built and seems like it will last a long time.This pressure cooker does not 'whistle' like some traditional pressure cookers. The way it works is by monitoring the steam escaping the vent (i.e. cooker is at full operating pressure) and then timing the recipe from then onwards. The instruction manual / recipebook that is supplied mentions the cooking time for almost all kinds of foods. It is extremely easy to follow and has cooking time for almost every thing I ever cook (and more!). This also translates into very reliable and consistent cooking. The only flipside is that one has to be present to monitor the steam escaping and setting up a timer as opposed to the more traditional cookers which rely on the 'number of whistles' method. Frankly, I would love to have the convenience of the 'whistle' method and the consistentency cooking of the Futura.Two small things I'd like to mention: The recipes & timings in the manual/recipe book are optimized for the 5 liter pressure cooker. This attention to detail is very useful as one does not need to do any 'calculation' based on general recipes & timings. The product also comes with a nifty cleaning tool.I am a single male student, so cooking is not my most favorite hobby. I like fast, easy and delicious food. This cooker is the perfect kitchen companion for me. I have cooked with the whistling pressure cooker for years and recently switched to the Futura. If I can manage to cook good food with this, I'm sure everybody else can.Highly recommended product.
