Purchased the gold option, very sturdy! Attractive design. Decent price point, marble base, perfect height for any bathroom. * Side note: always give a window, to update review[s] for quality issues. Lastly, viewed many free-standing TP holders and kept coming back to this brand/option. Reviews in general help me decide on products, personal choice for any consumer recommend read the reviews for verified buyers.

Easy to put together and looks nice !

The KES Gold Toilet Paper Roll Stand with Modern White Marble Base (SUS304 Stainless Steel Brushed Brass Finish BPH284S1-BZ) arrived in an impossibly small box. In a triumph of packing efficiency, the stand arrived in three pieces, with hardware in a bag. The brass portion of the stand comes in two pieces, which screw together without tools. That assembly then attaches to the marble base with a machine screw and a washer, using the included Allen key wrench. Assembly takes about 90 seconds. I didn't notice any significant workmanship, finish, or material flaws in the marble or metalwork.The stand is pretty handsome, for the price. I do have a few observations, though:1. the marble base is pretty light. I'm sure this was in the interest of saving material and shipping costs, but the 3lb base isn't very resistant to being knocked over. The solution? Spend more, and get something heavier. For me, though, the look is right for the décor, and I prefer not to spend extra money on this piece of the room2. the brushed bronze is more yellow than gold. It's not a big deal, and there's no "universal" shade for bronze, but it's worth noting if you are trying to match finishes in your bathroom space.3. the vertical portion of the stand has a seam line, where the two pieces screw together. It's hardly noticeable, but some people are really sensitive to that kind of thing. Again, the solution (if it bothers you) is to spend more.4. the last cost-cutting move is that the finish has no oleophobic coating, so it shows fingerprints.For the price, I think the KES is a pretty nice toilet paper roll stand for your mid-century modern décor. While it has the issues that I noted above, it's a tremendous value at under $30. Recommended

I liked that it was made out of marble and less likely to be knocked over.This item is exactly as depicted and I enjoyed the design more than others I saw. Make sure to follow the directions when screwing it together or it will not sit flush on the floor.

Looks high end and is very stable. Love the marble base.

Bought because the base of my other freestanding holder had rust/dark spots that couldn’t be removed. This one seems sturdy and assembly was easy. I like that the marble base has a nice weight to it and will be easier to keep clean. My only issue is that it didn’t come with any rubber feet or padding under the bottom of marble to help protect it or the flooring. It currently sits directly on the tile so I have ordered some clear rubber pads to put on the bottom.
