1 month on from receiving this charger our 5 year old son was using his ipad while the charger was plugged in when smoke started coming from the ipad charger cable where it connects to the ipad. He then instantly went to pull the charger out of the ipad and the plastic casing to the charger had melted (see photo) and the hot plastic stuck to his thumb causing a nasty burn and took a layer of skin off with it. Have not take a photo of our sons burnt hand because our priority was to treat and minimise the burn as quickly as possible. Can not find anywhere else to report this, but this item is DANGEROUS! and should be take off the market immediately

What a con... you think your buying 3 - 3M cables but no you get three 1m cables.. how easy would it be to write 3 x 1m cables in the description instead of 3 pack 3M/10f cables ? Very very deceiving

I plugged my regular 1.5metre iPhone cable into power supply rated at 2amps, at 5volts and I measured 2.1amps of load.This 3 metre cable measured 1.6 amps out of the same power supply. So, it works. You’ll get a charge out of it, but it’ll charge more slowly and you’ll get some waste heat.The cable itself isn’t the slinkiest cable, in that you’ll get a few wrinkles. That’s purely cosmetic.In terms of durability, one of the cables snagged on my reclining chair mechanism, and it ripped the connector housing off the plug. This was precisely the reason why I purchased the angled connector cable in the first place. I was hoping to avoid the snagging. But I’m onto my 2nd cable in the 3 pack. No big deal, it’s lasted 6 months so far.Overall, it’s an average cable - does the job, but be mindful that long cables aren’t conducive to fast and efficient charging.

DO NOT BUYTerrible product.These cables were noticible thinner than typical USB cables, so I should have suspected all was not well. However at first glance they seemed otherwise OK.However within two months (outside of the return window) one of the cables has failed. I expect the other will fail shortly.A classic example of cheap products not meeting even basic customer expectations.Money wasted!!!!DO NOT BUY

Switched to these cables and haven't looked back. 90 degree angle means I'm no longer breaking endless amounts of cables trying to charge and use my phone/device at the same time which is also helped by the length of the cables and with 3 in a pack these are great value for money

after six months or so of using these cables, one out of the three is still working... i don't know if that's impressive or just pure rubbish anymore.over the years i've learned that phone charging cables don't last very long, no matter the gimmick used, be it 90 degree angle heads or whatever. loli broke one cable myself by accident.. one just stopped working like a week after i started using it. the last one still kind of works but only in my friends phone and only with one charger plug, so i gave him the cable and he's still using it on a daily basis.i can't prove it but i would say these cables are a bit hit n miss... they were cheap enough and did the job for a while... shame all these cables just become waste really quickly. good news is that i use a wireless charging mat these days. hopefully they hold up better than cables.

These cables charge so slowly that my ipad runs out of battery faster than it charges (brand new ipad too). They are almost entirely useless. In the three pack I bought they all were equally slow. Additionally they don’t connect very well - so often they just randomly stop charging altogether. It means I sometimes wake up in the morning to find it has barely started charging up despite being plugged in all night. I need to buy more immediately because i use my ipad a lot and keep having to do stuff on my phone when the ipad has gone dead (despite being plugged in). They are driving me crazy.

Don’t waste your time or money !! I looked over the reviews as I know inferior products are generally not supported by Apple. I found the reviews generally positive, but when I plugged it into my phone (6) it started pinging on/off charge then said “unrecognised device “!!So guess lesson learned will buy branded affiliated lead.
