Rock solid. Ball mount is very smooth when dials are opened up for true freedom wi aim your camera any which way and such a breeze to go right into portrait position. The quick-centering or leveling feature is very handy as well. All parts are solidly made and the plate is very easy to take off and secure - I feel safe with my camera mounted to this head. Highly Recommended. Great orange-black coloring for those Sony Alpha users as well!

I love this head. I tried several other known brands before finally trying this one and I'm happy I moved away from the name brands to this. It's well-built (I had a Manfrotto break as I was tightening the camera plate to the head), it worked out the box and I like the many levels. I also like the switch that makes it easy to level the ball, I appreciate the pan function and the screws work well.The only thing I have a gripe about is the plate holder--I have a hard time getting my camera to attach correctly. I'm afraid one of these days I'll drop my camera when trying to attach it to the head. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

I shoot a lot of real estate so one a busy day I can adjust the ball head hundreds of times. It always locks down tight with no movement and is very easy to use. I had a cheaper one that I bought to save some money and absolutely hated it. It moved when i tightened it, it was "sticky" when trying to adjust it, it was terrible. This one is perfect for me and I should have spent the extra money the first time. A great investment if you are a professional photographer or you're serious about your photography.

This is a very good ball head. Rock solid and easy to operate, and looks great to boot.

Upgraded my promaster tripod with this ballhead, my previous ballhead wasn't able to hold the weight of my a7iii and Tamron 150-500. This locks it in with ease and is real quick to readjust, the large lock lever makes a world of difference. The quick centering is a cool feature too. Surprizinging light for such a big ballhead, I think it's lighter than my last which was half its size. All in all stoked on this purchase!
