Does the job
Soldering kit works just fine. Fixed the on off switch issue I had on my pc case. The items do feel a bit plastic and light but I can't fault it for the price and it does what it says on the box. Comes in a very handy case to keep everything together. I'm giving it 5 stars because it allowed me to fix my issue without having to pay up twice the amount to take it to a repair shop.

It is worth the money do no expect super quality, all works fine!
It is worth the money do no expect super quality, all works fine, I would disregard the included solder as it is not of very good quality however the iron does the job, I kept it on for one hour circa and towards the end the handle was getting very warm too, so ideal for small repairs and hobbits not surely for someone who wants to do anything where it is used for hours at the time. The multimeter worked well, I used it mostly to test continuity and it worked like a charm, it requires a battery which for the price you really cannot expect to be included, it is really basic common sense here. The pump works decently well, I would say for the size it does the job but then again you may want something more "sucky" which you get by using larger pump so they can obviously move more volume. All in all great DIY kit to keep at home for repair and if you like to do some of those kits they sell on here or other site where you build your own projects.

Almost everything
For this kinda money this is a great set. Pretty much everything you need including a multimeter for everyone to buy a battery for, see that it works and then put back as you have no real idea of how to use it.Everything is good. As mentioned the holder and sponge could fit in a Christmas cracker but just about do the job and I'd have liked a bit more in the way of wiring since this is a cost of pence. But otherwise it's great to have everything there.I'm dropping some points here for one very good reason. I only rally do electronic repairs and so am only really interested in precision tips. On second use whilst soldering guitar pots this tip completely disintegrated. And this was not under the highest temperature or for use longer than 30 mins. Consequently I have to source this kind of fitting tips as replacement. I would have paid more for top quality tips.

I only wanted the iron...
...but it came with some useful stuff. The included cheapo multimeter is versatile and has taken over from my larger Mastech. Even tests transistors showing forward voltages. Worth more than the iron, methinks!Anyway, the Iron. Seems the 'heat' control regulates wattage. Trial and error needed to regulate temp., but at the price... Works OK so far.One star dropped because the grommet holding the flex into the handle actually slid down the cable. Rubbish, but fixed with ubiquitous tape. Not worth sending back as likely they're all the same. There is a teardown video on YT.For the price, OK so far.Edit: now the red probe has come apart. Lead not secured onto the probe tip. But I fixed it with solder and heat shrink...

Great value.
Nice for soldering the small solder points you get these days.I haven't checked out the multimeter yet, but this product is well worth it without it.

A nice kit
A nice little kit, and the multimetre is a bonus. Was bought to solder a charging port on a Tablet device though tips a little to big for that fine a job. Otherwise good.
