Wow! Great little amp! How to fix buzz!
I'll try to make this review short and to the point. I'll start by saying I have been playing guitar for 18 years. I've had many solid state and tubes amps and played more live shows than I can count, recorded a couple albums and jam all the time. I only say this so you guys don't think I'm some first timer ranting and raving about something that isn't really that good. Lol that being said, here we go! I bought this amp because of the many great reviews and I must say I am very impressed! I've only had the amp 2 days now and so far I have no complaints! The structure of the amp is very impressive. I was surprised to see that the amp is actually wrapped in real leather and it smelled great when I opened it! The amp also looks very nice! Obviously I haven't had the amp long enough to brake it in but man this thing can put out some sound! I haven't even turned the volume higher than just above half and it's got some great sound! There's nothing like the sound of a tube amp and this little thing has it! The gain is perfect and with my strat this amp can put out some mean blues tones. For those who said it doesn't have lows you need to keep in mind the size of the speaker. Will it shake the walls? No.. does it have good all around sound including lows and highs? Yes!! This absolutely does not sound like an old am radio as I saw mentioned in one review. THE BUZZ!!! If any of you happen to get a very loud annoying vibration on certain notes don't worry, it's fixable! Every time I played a D note low or high I would get a massive buzzing out of the amp. This was very annoying. So I took it apart and noticed that one of the groups of wires was actually touching the metal housing in the back. These are the multi colored wires you can see through the slots in the back of the amp. I simply pulled it apart, taped them back and all was fixed!! Now the amp sounds crystal clear on every note! All around this is a great amp! I gave it 5 stars because I love this amp so far for what it is. Not just because it is good for how much I paid for it. I would happily pay twice as much for this amp! I will update as time goes on! In the mean time, if you are reading this, buy this amp! You will not regret it! Happy jamming everyone! Update... As of now this thing is still awesome. There is only one thing I can’t stand. When you turn the treble up the bass goes down. Literally. I can’t turn the treble up past 3/4 or I will have no bass. That is all. At 3/4 treble it has a very good mix of lows and highs. It’s just a bit annoying that I can’t adjust them separately.

Decent, inexpensive, portable, tube amp.
I'm updating my review of this amp after owning it for some time. I'm up and down on this amp. Sometimes I love it, sometimes not so much but I am probably being picky. It is a small, inexpensive, portable, amp with a single tube so I shouldn't expect anything close to the (beautiful) sound I get out of my 50W Carvin Nomad with 8 tubes. The Bulgera has only a single channel with recommended equalizer/button settings to achieve clean, fat clean, crunchy blues, and heavy metal. The clean and the metal settings I think are pretty good, particularly for a small portable amp. The fat clean and the crunchy blues sound too muddy to me. In any event for the price it is a pretty good portable tube amp, and this thing is extremely portable. ################ Original Review Below ######################## Ok I have only had this thing for a week and I typically would wait longer before reviewing an item but I gotta say, I love this little amp. I own several other (solid state) amps that all cost more than this little puppy and while I don't have the most experienced ear when it comes to amps this Bugera has the nicest tone of any I own. The controls are limited but in my view that is a plus and this thing can still produce a wide variety of sounds. The manual has one page that shows how to configure the amp for Sparkly Clean, Fat Clean, Crunchy Blues, and Hard Rock Distortion. Certainly not the same variety of sounds as produced by my Line 6 modeling amp, but the sounds the Bugera produces sound nicer (especially the clean settings) and the amp is much simpler to adjust than the Line 6. I read a couple of reviews that described the appearance of the amp as cheesy, but I love the classy retro look. In fact it looks WAY better in person than I was expecting and much better than any standard black amp. It is light and therefore extremely portable, and the cord tucks nicely inside the amp for transporting. My one concern prior to purchasing this amp was durability, as Bugera (the budget side of Behringer) does not have the best reputation for quality. But the amp was only $110 which is a steal for even a one tube amp, and to cover my butt I did something I never do, which is invest the $10 for a 2 year replacement warranty.
