Can this oven make toast?

No, it is a pizza oven - designed for heating up pizzas. I bought this pizza oven for our concessions at school. My only problem with the ovens is they were missing parts - both handles and the screws to attach them were not included in the packages - like they should have been.

Will a 13" pizza fit inside? The dimensions on the description show 13.4x13.4. Just want to verify. We love pizza corner pizzas but they are 13"

opening is 13.5" wide. depth is 13.625". it should fit. Oven I have has a hot spot in the back. But I just turn the pizza after a few minutes to prevent serious pizza burning. No temp control on mine. I think one with temp control would be better. Outside surface gets really hot. Not a problem but be cautious about it.

what is the maximum temperature this oven generates?

It makes great frozen pizza and fund raiser pizzas, also used it to make garlic bread. I don't know off hand how high it goes, I turn it to 3 or 4 min for reg. pizza and garlic bread and it it needs more than I put it on again for a shorter time. Hope this helps.
