SUPER LIGHT... - I have ordered a couple of sets of these lights in the past but these are super bright at 9000 lumen's . My husband has them in his garage and they really light up the whole garage and are super simple to install they just screw into a standard light bulb socket and that's it you have super light ! These came in a 2 pack and are so well worth the cost. We have had the first ones we ordered for nearly a year with no problems and sure these will be just as great. If you need to really light up a dark place or just want some super bright light to work under get these as they are just awesome. I actually have one of the first ones bought in my kitchen over my sink area where I prepare food , like mix ingredients for recipes I cook or bake and the light makes a world of difference because I can see so much better than ever and they do cut down on the electric too ! I love these lights as much as my husband does. I just showed my younger Brother the one in my kitchen and he now wants to get them for his garage , I told him not to look directly into the light or he's go blind of course he looked and saw grids for a few minutes and we got a laugh out of that. Don't look directly into the lights ! They are super bright and they are great ! Definitely recommend. These DO NOT HAVE MOTION DETECTION . Review: Perfect lights for attic - I love these lights for the attic. Slim 3” profile once installed. Less likely to be bumped into and if you do, the articulating arms will just fold up out of the way. Really like the fact that the arms can be positioned to provide focused light where it’s needed most. Brightness is great for such a compact design. *** UPDATE 2021 *** Liked these so much, I bought some more! Have a total of 9 of the 9000 lumen LED’s in an attic that’s used for storage. For this purpose they are great. Low profile, easy to install, somewhat adjustable and all 9 lights use only 5.3 amps (tested at panel with clamp meter) Which averages out to 70.6 watts per light. Quite a bit less than the 82 watt spec. It sure if this means the lumen output is lower than spec too. There is about a 1 second delay when turning these lights on, but in the attic, this is a non issue. They do get warm, but the aluminum heat sinks seem to work well as I’ve left these on for days at a time without issue. lI do like these in he attic, but too harsh for me in the garage, where I went with a more diffused light. Overall, great lights, will see how they hold up.

Easy to install, gives you great light for a garage/workshop, but don't stare at 'em!
Had old 60W incandescents in the garage, and it was very difficult to see while working on things. I swapped these new LEDs in to the existing ceiling light sockets and angled the arms. That was all it took. When you flick on the switch, there is very little delay. You can see the "before" (top) and "after" (bottom) in the picture. Note that the camera Wyze Cam V2 adjusts the exposure automatically, so the lights look equal. They are not. The new lights are brighter and have a different color (bright white), and note how it gets into more areas and how it shines off the white objects in the garage. CAUTION: DO NOT LOOK AT THESE DIRECTLY. Be careful if you are using these on a low garage ceiling. As with most LEDs I've seen, the light somehow doesn't "fill" the room (maybe it's just me). The light falls off quickly away from the bulbs. If I could, I would put these more centrally located in the garage or use one for each quarter of the garage. That'd do it. I think spreading more of these around instead of getting higher lumen fixtures would work better. I think the ultimate approval of these items came from the GF who noted the change and thinks these are fantastic for our formerly dim garage. So there's your recommendation. :-) Oh, the little "just for gift" lamp holders you get are just gimmicky. Maybe you'd use them if you wanted to have a vintage light bulb displayed on a shelf or something.

I can see!
I used these to replace the dome lights in my garage that came with the house. I thought I was going to have to install the 4 ft long LED style light and do a bunch of work to illuminate the entire garage - I have a recessed area that is difficult to light. Someone recommended this style, so I tried them. This is a standard 2-car garage, but with ceilings over 15 ft high. Two of these lights give me more light than I need. Well worth the price, and they just screw in like a regular bulb. The adjustable fins allowed me to light the recessed area better than I could have imagined. Unfortunately, I didn't take a BEFORE picture..

Works In A Freezing Garage
Installation is as easy as screwing in a bulb! We have a two-car garage with just a single porcelain socket for one bulb attached to the ceiling joist about 12’ up. I didn’t expect too much and thought I’d need to add additional porcelain sockets to see a decent improvement with the lighting but one of these bulbs is perfect. I suppose if I was doing detailed work in the garage I’d add more but for general use of the space one is plenty. Others have commented about a delay from switch to illumination and there may be a fraction of a second delay but honestly if I hadn’t read about others saying so I wouldn’t have noticed. It’s currently below freezing (22F today) in the garage and the bulb works perfectly. No slow increase of brightness as the bulb warms up just super bright white light. The ‘gift’ of the plastic sockets is kind but I wouldn’t use them as I don’t think they would be up to code and I tossed them.

Bright and easy to install, electrically noisy
The unit is very bright. Two of them light-up our three car garage. The installation is very easy, simply unscrew the old bulb and screw these in in its place. Unfortunately, the bulbs' power supplies inject electrical noise into the AC lines providing their power. I tried controlling them with a special home automation switch that communicates over the power line but it didn't work correctly. Note that manual, local control, worked fine. I could turn the bulbs on remotely, but once on, the electrical noise from the bulbs "drowned out" the signal to turn them off. Ultimately I got them to work (i.e., turn off remotely) by adding a ferrite on the switched line to the bulbs to block their noise. This is, however, WAY beyond the capabilities of most users. NOTE: if none of this paragraph made sense to you, you're not using the bulbs in a way in which the electrical noise will be a problem you'll have to deal with.

Night and Day difference from the $15 80 led Garage lights -Perfect Color too!
I originally got the $15/pair led 80-watt 90,000 lumens at 6500k color. I thought, wow what a great deal. Well you get what you pay for. The color was very blue and brightness wasn't much more then the original 16 watt LED bulb they replaced. So I spent the extra $30 and got these. Holy Cow they are very bright and the color is perfect. Something between 4,000 and 5,000k my best guess. Best for a garage with a shop where I need lots of light for my detailed carpentry work. And the build on these are top notch, heavy duty. Very much like industrial grade for sure.

Thing is bright. Does what it is supposed to do. Can angle the 3 panels to your liking.
