Visconti, Visconti, Visconti... The leather is the best quality out there. This messenger bag allows me to fit my 15" laptop, and my SLR Nikon Camera with 2 lenses, and then room to spare. I travel quite extensively, and I usually take my camera and tablet. All my documents fit very neatly and organized in there, as well as any other items I may want to bring along. Very stylish, and designed for comfort and functionality. I would've paid twice the amount for this bag. On a side note, this item is genuine leather, and when you receive it it still has the leather smell. You may want to wait a little before using it with any light colored clothing, color transferring may happen... Although, this MAY happen, it is no reason to give any less than 5 stars. It is even suggested in the description and on the item tag when you receive it.This bag is sturdy, light considering it's size, and even stands on it's own if placed on the ground. Great for travel. Great for work.

The craftsmanship is beyond doubt of very high quality. It is a bit too large and heavy. In addition, the leather does stain light colored clothing. This makes it a 3 star product.

I bought the bag to use for work. I wanted something larger that would hold folders, notebooks and a 15in computer. This does it all and has multiple pockets to spare for phones, business cards, various other items. I like it a great deal. Another reviewer recommended getting tan cote to seal it and keep the dye from rubbing off. I did and applied it before the first use. I have had no problems with the bag or dye rubbing off from the first use. I definitely recommend the sealing with tan cote since there were so many people that mentioned a problem with the dye transferring to their clothes. I am getting substantial use out of it and using it for work and running around town. It was worth the money, it is well constructed, looks nice and does the job.

I wish I had listened to Benjamin Blhem in his review. When I got the bag I was really happy. It seems really well made. Then I got home and saw the stains on my clothes. I let it sit for month to let it dry out, have rubbed it down with mink oil, and nothing seems to work to get it to stop bleeding dye.It is a great bag, but not worth ruining my clothes for.

First of all, the bag does look fantastic and I already have had a ton of compliments on it. It is also very sturdy and the quality of the stitching, lining, and hardware is great. I use it for grad school and also for everyday errands.Why it lost a star: After about a month I noticed that the rear of the bag (the side that faces me when I wear it) started to look different (smoother) than the rest of the bag. Upon a closer inspection, I started to wonder if this part is actually solid leather or not. I am in no way an expert, but I have pretty much made up my mind that it is actually bonded leather, and not a solid strip. This may be only the back side, or it may be the whole thing, I have no idea. My point is... If you are expecting 100% solid strips of hide, this may not be the bag for you.Overall, considering the price and the level of quality, I don't regret the purchase at all, although I do feel that people should be informed that it isn't made completely out of solid leather. But... apparently few people can actually tell the difference... so who cares? Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts.

I ordered this bag so I wouldn't have to carry laptop bag plus another large back (for magazines, notebooks, work files - I'm a writer/editor so have tons of stuff I have to lug everywhere). It's perfect! There's no padding, which is totally fine because my laptop is in a padded sleeve. There is plenty of room for laptop plus notebooks and file folders and lots of interior slots for gadgets, power cords, etc. I really didn't expect a super high quality leather bag at this price, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well made it is. The stitching is perfect, interior lining, etc. These were made with a lot of attention and it shows. I have not experiences any dye bleeding (and even got caught in the rain with it once...just used leather soap to wipe it clean) like some of the other reviewers (but I also rarely wear light colored clothing, so maybe it is and I just don't know it). Really happy with this purchase. If I lost the bag tomorrow, I'd definitely order another!

I want to return it, if dared.Of course, I was aware that the material is a natural leather, however, I wonder seller use a real GARBAGE-LIKE dye on it.Goddamm, my pants and shirts have usually been smeared and contaminated due to its garbage dying material and stain.Absolute Recommendation : Don't buy this GARBAGE BAG.

I have owned this bag in Tan since 2013. I have taken it everywhere with me and really put it through the wringer. It's been overstuffed and used as my "one personal item" in addition to my carry-on for more cross-country plane trips than I can remember. I've crammed law, psychology, and nursing books into it as I hauled them from class to class while getting my degrees. I carelessly threw it into the boot of my car after long shifts at the hospital when I was too tired to care. Not once have I bothered to put leather conditioner on it, and the patina that has developed is beautiful. Not one stitch has broken, and the zippers are as smooth as the day it was delivered. My husband has coveted it for so long that I finally bought him one just to keep him from stealing mine.
