GutterSickle - Gutter Cleaning System

The media could not be loaded.  As I hear multiple stories of people suffering horrendous injuries falling off ladders, I’ve made a goal to keep my feet firmly planted on solid ground. GutterSickle allows me to achieve this goal! For this reason alone, I am a big fan!I received my GutterSickle in August and have used it twice since then. On the first use, I spent about 1 hour thoroughly cleaning a 50 foot section of a well matured “gutter garden”. You can watch the video to get the full picture of what I was up against. The second use was a 10 minute session cleaning the same 50ft. section. It was quick and easy; requiring only the Gutter Tickle Brush! I can actually say I enjoyed the process and am happy to have felt perfectly safe throughout the task!The GutterSickle is well designed and made of high quality materials. The extension pole is sturdy and has multiple uses beyond cleaning gutters. I was able to go to Lowes and purchase an attachment that allowed me to finally clean the cobwebs under the 2nd story eaves of the house!

Product worked ok, but attachments are not designed very well, both the brush and scoop are now in my gutters do to them coming off during use. Very frustrating due to cost of tool

I was excited to know there is a tool I could use to clean the gutter w/o risking climbing high. Received my delivery a couple of days ago and start to try today. The extendable pole works great and feel solid made but it does feel shaky when I use it for the 2nd floor gutter. The problem is while the GutterSickle mounting bracket is threaded on the the pole, the other side of the mounting bracket is a slide on, like what a paint roller does. While I follow the instruction of using it for the gutter and flipping hand as suggested to pick the stuff out of the gutter, the GutterSickle slipped off the mounting bracket. So instead of clean my gutter, it literally left the GutterSickle in my gutter which I have no way to get it out but to order a gutter service. What a disappointment. This is a serious design flaw. W/O that being fixed, there is really no point of getting this. I have submitted my return request but I could not even return that left out GutterSickle.

The product worked as advertised, it was even easy to use, eventhough the developer said it might take practice. My gutters look brand new. Great product. It could use a few tweaks to remove it.

After a number of ladder-related tragedies in my community my wife said no to me getting up on ladders to clean the gutters. So a friend suggested the gutter sickle ( less than 1/2 the price of a gutter cleaning service ) soI figured why not. It arrived promptly and as advertised. I have a found a number of additional uses for the lightweight 16' pole and brush attachment including removing cobwebs, tidying up overhangs, molding around windows etc. Great versatile tool that allows you to clean gutters while standing firmly on the ground.

The product is good, it’s just not the easiest thing to use. The small shovel is too free to move, sometimes making it difficult to capture debris without spilling it back into the gutter.

The idea is great, but this product is seriously flawed!!! I followed the instructions very well and this thing did not work. The bracket that you attach tools to is not threaded so the little shovel that comes with it (to pick up the debris) keeps turning around on the mounting bracket. I wanted to return this product because it clearly doesn't work as it is described. The only thing that is somewhat well made is the telescopic pole that extends pretty far out. This products doesn't work well and it's not worth the money. It cost me $179 plus tax ($195) for this and when I submitted the return, the company refunded me $86 and when I reached out to them, they pretty much called me stupid for not knowing how to use the product and said that they charge $25 restocking fee, that still leaves me $80 or so short that they refused to refund. Please be aware and make sure you really want this thing before buying, because you will loose on it.

Do yourself a favor, & tape or drill & pin the attachments and the paint roller handle part. I dont like how the attachments falls off in the gutter when i try to use it, its a poor design that needs a simple locking mechanism or a pin to secure it & for this price - it should have that... Having Osteogenesis Imperfecta, i wasnt happy climbing a 20ft ladder to retrieve the attachments from that high up - which defeated the purpose of this expensive product, i just grabbed stuff by hand while i was up there as usual... i shouldve read the reviews first, i see others had this issue too. Its worth $90-$100, not $160+.... paint roller frame ($5) bungie ties ($3), a roll of gorilla tape ($9), a toilet brush ($5), a hand garden shovel ($10), a garden hose sprayer attachment ($10) & tree pruning pole or 23ft extending paint roller poll ($40). Who made this anyhow, Richard Dean Anderson or what?
