Great customer service from Digital GOJA. I ordered this battery as a back-up for my Sony NEX 3n. The first battery was defective. They replaced it free of charge, in a fast and friendly manner. The new battery held a full charge and is working just fine. The ONLY company that will ship a non- factory replacement battery to an APO!

I needed a backup power pack for my camera and I bought this one. It fits the charger and works in the camera and cost less than a Sony pack so what's not to love!

The battery will not charge in my Sony NEX-6. Unfortunately I waited too long to try it out and can't return it. A complete loss for me. Bad experience.

Although the price is enticing, the power capacity claims superior to stock battery....the old saying, you get what you pay for applies here. I received my Vivitar Sony battery bundled with their wall charger, and part of my Sony a6000 kit purchase in Aug 2014. Mine was an earlier unit claiming twice the power capacity and doesn't have the Vivitar logo on the battery. It was used with the stock Sony battery and it didn't last any longer than the Sony. So much for greater reserve. Before 2015, I bought 4 additional batteries from other brands to supplement my initial two. Therefore the cycle of use was divided and number of charge cycles reduced for each. The Vivitar has just died and is 0V, can't be charged by its wall charger or in camera. No warning, it was still in use in the beginning of November 2015. It only lasted 14 months, outside the warranty period. Its number of charges was no where close to over 500. Estimate about 200 cycles. The battery should NOT have expired. No physical damage, not dropped, no abuse, etc. I'm very disappointed with Vivitar as they are still trying to be an establish supplier in the industry. I was prepared to buy more of their batteries, but no more. No better than the no-name cheap counterfeits available for less than 1/2 the price of this Vivitar. I hope this review reaches Vivitar and Amazon reps. My other aftermarket batteries are two Neewer units and two Watson units (from B&H Photo). All batteries have yielded approximately 350 shots.

BATTERIES arrived in short order. They fit my Sony NEX-5 CAMERA as intended and hopefully they will provide excellent service. My original SONY BATTERY still functions after two years; however another after-market battery I bought from another provider worked well but only lasted less than a year when used in tandem with the SONY BATTERY. I look forward to a possibly better operating life from these new VIVITAR BATTERIES…………………….

Battery are great. Includes a charger. These batteries hold a charge for a long time. Can't beat the price! Also included a blower and micro fiber cloth as bonus.

I ordered this battery as a backup for a Sony a6000. The first battery did not work properly. When in the camera, the camera would not turn on, and the charging light would not turn on when it was plugged in the charger. The customer service team was quick to respond to my problem, and ensure that the problem was solved. The second copy of the battery I received was in perfect working order, and is now being used alongside my OEM sony a6000 battery.

For the price, I say this is a very good third party battery alternative! Yes, it might leak power a little over time. Yes, it will drain faster than the oem. Yes, it might be defective when u receive it, but the seller was more than willing to send me another one free of charge. You can buy 4 of them for the price of the original battery. Excellent customer service and a great product. I can't complain... Will buy again!
