A good help by a guy who knows dogs and, more importantly, can communicate simply and straight forward to dogs in a way they understand...immediately. This book is a guide to some of his TV episodes. handy to have.

He is the MASTER!

Cesar is a classic with animals. All his books, and shows are educational for animal lovers. I do not always do exactly like he says, but that does not mean that I shouldn't be. I took my mother's dog after buying this book for my mother. She could not handle this little Chihuahua. He is a rescue dog and has some issues. Cesar says not to let the dog choose his path for a walk. He is correct because I have let this dog choose and he tries to boss me around now. No problem, he is small enough to handle. When he gets stubborn I always win out. Cesar is an expert and looks at dog handling professionally. I do not, I let the dog sleep with me and other things he warns against, but he is a master of his trade and I do respect his opinions.

If you have a collection of Cesar's Dog whisperer - Season's 1-3, this is a well documented guide to take you to the right episode and enjoy the video that you are looking for.Well index based of different types of dog behavior, dog breed, and season's.The tips highlight important facts of the episode and also cover some behind the scene conversation.Excellent tool!.. i have reviewed this book several times, as an index to watch the exact behavior video.Thanks to author for making this easy for us!..

great teacher when watching them one right after the other...totally turned my knowledge around in working with 9 standard poodles in my home!

I love Cesar. He always teach a good teachnique to dogs lover. I tried n it works. My dog respect me. My english is poor but whn i read this book, im glad he doesnt use big words to explain. Its so reader friendly! N most important, he explain it in detail n repeat quite a few times. So it always reminds me whats the dos n donts. Good book

i purchased the book for my grand daughter , she is an avid animal lover. She loves the book as was thrilled when I gave it her.

Very helpfull

Didn’t like anything about it. I was hoping for a few tips on training my puppy but all of it was about himself and his experiences.

As one other reviewer has pointed out this is not the book to buy if you want to learn the training techniques of dog whispering. I should have read the description more carefully. It is in fact a companion guide to the TV series. I have to say, I could not really see the point of the book. It essentially describes the outcome of various episodes with sweeping generalisations of "within minutes the dog was under control" without actually explaining how it was done. If you want a "how to" guide then this is not the book for you. Therefor difficult for me to rate this book as I was actually after a "how to" book.The rating is therfore perhaps a little harsh as I Should have read the desciption in more detail but I didn't want anyone to make the same mistake as me.

He's fantastic! Very down to earth but has complete control and is able you to get that same control

I've got to say, nothing new here. I really like his TV show, but I came away from the book somehow liking Cesar less. I don't really know why. Basically, if you have watched his show there really is nothing much you will gain by spending money on the book.
