Such a great series!!

It’s very well written with applicable historical themes and current ones as well. A lot of the hardship and choices felt fairly overwhelming at times so I had to put it down and then pick it back up again because I do love the characters and wanted to finish the story.

I bought this set when it went on sale. I had the first book in paperback, I got it when I was a teenager but I never got a chance to get the rest of the series. Now that I have adult money, I buy whatever I want and this was one of them.I prefer the hardcover as they are sturdier and won’t be easily destroyed. With my on-the-go lifestyle, I carry books with me apart from having digital copies. This series is not only a good read but the covers are gorgeous! Perfect for a bookworms trophy shelf 😉
