Fit tube on old Bontrager Floor Pump! Great.
As stated in another review it was tight fit, but that’s good with a high pressure fitting. After realizing that I could not just screw it onto my pump hose using the old pump head parts the way some exact copy heads can, I chopped off the old end of the old tube with a small pair of very sharp garden loppers (but could have use razor knife). I then gently clamped the new pump head in a vice so it could take downward pressure, lubed the receiving collar nubs with oil and gently twisted and pushed and wiggled hose in with steady pressure until I got tube to flare and slip well onto fitting. (Another customer said they pre-flared it. I did not have to because the Bontrager hose was flexible enough. ) Kind of like doing a garden hose repair without hose clips. Of course you slip the bright orange plastic screw collar fitting onto the hose first so it is in position to mate with the pump head assembly. Nice tight fit. Works great. Orange screw collar brought it together securely and withstood medium force. Well made. Great value. Will purchase again for another pump.

EXCELLENT BIKE PUMP HEADS. 2 PORTS
Replaced defective bike pump heads on two pumps. Tubing was tight, so a little extra effort, but pre-dilated some. Easy install. Both pumps work great now. Love having regular and Dunlap ports on same pump. NICE DESIGN!

No more leaking on the universal inflation bib
I rarely write a review, but this one upgrade to my pump is worthy.First, I love my Bontrager pump, but I hated the inflation nib. It was a universal that tried to do both presta and schrader and didn't do either well. This one simply fits on either and works well. For the installation, I did have to cut off the original since no amount of heating and pulling could get it off. But the new one slipped easily into the tube and secured firmly.

Head Blows off Hose and Nozzle Doesn't Seal
I bought this replacement pump head to replace the original one on my Avenir floor pump. upon inspection before I installed it, it appeared to be the correct size. I had to cut off the end of my pump's hose to push it onto the internal gripping connector, and everything fit without any problem. From the first time I used it, I had difficulty getting both the presto and schrader valves on two different bike tires to open when the pump head was fitted. The pump was pressuring up very quickly, in about 2 strokes indicating the the air was not flowing into the tire. After a bit of jiggling and taking the head off and on, I finally got the tire valves to open properly and inflate each of the tires with both types of valves. I thought- problem solved. Then a couple of days later I went to pump up my bike tires with presta valves, and the same problem persisted. Again i took the head on and off of each valve until finally the valve opened and I could almost inflate the tire. As I operated the pump the air pressure increased with each stroke, but when the pressure reached somewhere between 100 and 110 psi, the entire head blew off of the pump hose. Another problem that this head has is that the picture on Amazon shows separate nozzles for presto and schrader valves, but the one I received had only one nozzle that supposedly fits both. Finally to make matters worse, I need to get my tires pumped up so I used the hose collar from my old head on this head and stripped the threads on my old head and probably this one, so both of them are going into the trash as soon as I order and install another, hopefully better replacement head. Also as far as I can measure, my hose is a standard size 10mm outside diameter hose, so I don't think it's the problem.

Normal locking lever
Not sure why some valve heads lock by pulling it upward. The problem with it is you can hurt a finger when you release it, because it's a bit awkward to release that you might need to support the valve a certain way. And next thing you know, the lever slams into your finger. I prefer this press down to lock option. Easier and safer. SKS' design also made the locking mechanism seal/secure both the schrader and the presta valves simultaneously. No need to guess which way locks what hole, which is what the JoeBlow design went with. The only knock on this SKS is bulk. I doubt you can fit the valve head through the spokes of a 16-inch bicycle wheel or anything smaller. But it's quite alright with 26" and up bike wheels. You need to make sure the hose you use this with will fit. If you have a Lezyne with a bad head, I think this SKS will not work.

The replacement for the Bontrager Dual Charger Floor Pump's Head.
Perfect fit. Works as designed for both, presta and schrader, valves. It replaced the Bontrager head after little over a year. The Bontrager unit was poorly designed and constantly slipped off the presta valves.

Good Universal Head
I needed to replace the worn head on a Joe Blow Sprint. Just yanked out the old one and inserted this, which fit snugly and securely. Seems well made and works great on both types of valves. The individual ports should mean there are no internal valves to wear out from constant switching back and forth. I like that it locks when you press the lever down. You can get better leverage and seems more intuitive. Excellent and inexpensive way to extend the life of an otherwise good air pump.

Great Valve Head
I have a Joe Blow pump and the old Valve head wouldn't seal. I replaced it with this one and it works well, gives good seal. I've only used the presta so far but would also think the Schrader seals well. I cut my old valve off and this fit and sealed only the old rubber tube coming out of the pump.
