Best used on a bait cast reel . It has a bit more memory that (many ) monos
Love this line it is a high quality line . It has less stretch than regular mono and it is stronger. The price is great.

I LOVE Yo-Zuri Hybrid!
Came across this line kinda randomly but now I use it for both leader material and also main line when not using braid. Line stays rather limp and casts well. Not to mention that the price is unbearable! The line is a pseudo floater. Does not stay on top of the water but rather suspends a couple inches below the surface. When running frogs over pads and such I prefer pure mono because it keeps line from tangling as bad in the plants and getting the life caught on the edges of pads but for just about everything else this is my go to line now.

Best mono I have used.
I have not been a huge fan of most mono lines I have tried. They don’t hold up more than a few months in my experience. I’m having to change line every 4 months or so. I fish 1-2 times a week both fresh and salt water depending on where I’m at that week.I have been using this line for a few months now, I can’t attest to the longevity of this line but it is holding up better then what I had been using. I have caught 20+ stripers on 8# with a little 2000 reel on a travel pole. I am consistently outfishing my friends 2:1. Not sure if it’s because I’m using a lighter line or if it’s the flouro mix in this line. The line stretches a lot, it seems to be much more abrasive resistant then typical mono, and the 8# seems to break at a much higher rating. I’m switching over most of my freshwater and inshore reels that are not done with braid to this line.I got it cheaper on amazon then it’s currently listed and I can find it cheaper at other websites. I will buy there or wait for the price to drop on amazon.

Amazing line
Amazing string . I’ve tried other fluorocarbons and this being a hybrid is amazing. Casts like mono but so much stronger. With that said 8-10-12 a pickerel will chop right thru it . But I have very few break offs with larger bass . Sorry spider wire fisherman I just can’t do it 😂. I no that is definitely the way to go .Maybe if I miss a 6 LB bass then I will switch.

Excellent for crankbaits, but not for finesse
I put 6lb test on a baitcaster and spinning setup, and took both to Barrett Lake. Barrett is known for being one of the last lakes not spoiled by the introduction of lazy Florida strain largemouth bass. Essentially, the bass are aggressive, and many boats catch over 100 in a day.Pros:Very easy to tie knotsAbrasion resistence is excellentPriceStretch!!!!! I put a shallow diving crankbait on my baitcaster, and the line stretched so much when the bass hit it that it just felt like pulling some extra weightCons:Stretch. It really stretches a ton, so when I got a bite on a dropshot or free line setup with plastic worms, I never felt the bite until the hook was already in the bass' guts.Overall: I will definitely be buying more of this line

Best line!
This has become my favorite line after coming back to the hobby after many years away. The combination of cost, strength, and durability is unmatched after testing out half a dozen or so types of line. For specific applications, I have no doubt that certain lines will work better, but for general fishing, I've caught every type of North American game fish with this line. It does have some memory issues at time, which the KVD line conditioner has taken care of. Also, the knot strength with this stuff is incredible!

It has its pros and cons
Now that I've used it for a few months I can give my honest opinion.Pros - it's strong, great cast ability, great price and never had a knot breakCons- only one, but to me it's a deal breaker. This line has not aged well and has the memory of something I'd expect out of a much older line.I do not see me using this line all summer. I fish typically every other weekend. So if your not fishing as frequently you may love it.
